    Abstract: A method and a device for the removal of water ice from refrigeration units for the refrigeration of chilled goods to a temperature below the freezing point of water. The water ice is sucked out of the interior of the refrigeration unit by application of a suction fan and at least one suction nozzle, preferably located below a conveyer belt, to remove the water ice from the belt and the refrigeration unit.
