  • Patent number: 9038559
Abstract: A keel pad is provided for a hull of a boat. The keel pad contains a main body and two fingers extending from the main body in a direction of a front of the hull. Due to curved shape of the fingers, drag is reduced allowing the boat better planing properties and greater fuel efficiencies.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 3, 2013
Date of Patent: May 26, 2015
Assignee: Prop It Rite Consulting Services, Inc.

  • Patent number: 7677663
Abstract: An assembly for safely supporting an occupant in a vehicle such as, but not limited to, a watercraft and including a seat assembly and a support frame. A connector assembly is disposed and structured to movably interconnect the seat assembly to said support frame along a first rotational axis. A mount assembly is connected to the vehicle and includes an attachment assembly disposed and structured to movably interconnect the support frame to the mount assembly along a second rotational axis. The support frame and the connector assembly associated therewith as well as the mount assembly and the attachment assembly associated therewith are cooperatively disposed and structured to orient said first and second rotational axes in substantially perpendicular relation to one another, such that the seat assembly will be able to move in a substantially gimbal-like fashion relative to the movement of the vehicle while traveling.

  • Patent number: 7371139
Abstract: A nozzle drive propulsion assembly for use with a marine craft and incorporating an annularly configured nozzle disposed in surrounding relation to a propeller collectively mounted exteriorly of the marine craft and preferably, at least partially, within an elongate recessed channel formed in the hull. A strut assembly is connected to the nozzle in transverse relation to a trailing open end thereof, downstream of the propeller and in at least partially supporting relation to the propeller. The nozzle includes a collection assembly including a water collecting chamber incorporating a pitot-type structure for directing water into the collecting chamber and along a path of fluid flow in the strut assembly to a thrust member mounted on the strut assembly. A rudder assembly and a deflector structure are secured to an exterior of the nozzle and function to determine the craft's direction of travel.

  • Publication number: 20050200175
Abstract: A safety seat assembly including a seat or like occupant support structured to maintain an occupant, such as a child or infant, in a predetermined, substantially upright orientation relative to the vehicle during travel thereof. A stabilization assembly includes an orientation portion moveable with the vehicle relative to the occupant support throughout a substantially universal range of orientations so as to compensate for any movement of the vehicle including lateral sway, turning, acceleration, de-acceleration, etc, which would tend to displace the occupant and occupant support from the preferred orientation. In one embodiment, the occupant support includes a floatation assembly as well as a ballast structure, wherein the occupant support is removably mounted on a water craft and is structured to maintain an occupant in an above surface, floating orientation in the water in the event of an emergency.
