Abstract: A lighting device for a motor vehicle, comprising a housing in which are arranged at least light-emitting means and optical-deflection means able to deflect the rays of light emitted toward an output face of the device, the device further comprising a main orifice formed in the housing for extracting the light-emitting means from the housing along a first axis. Fastening means are provided for fastening the emitting means in the device and the housing comprises an additional axis, distinct from the main orifice, for accessing the fastening means. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle headlamp equipped with at least one device of this type, and to a method of repositioning replacement means in a lighting device.

Abstract: A motor vehicle lighting and/or signaling assembly including: a lighting module and an adapter that can be placed and retained in position in a housing of support means of an optical collector, and separate means for pressing the adapter against the support means of the module in a first direction and for adjusting the adapter in the housing of the support means in a second direction other than the first direction, these pressing and adjustment means being carried by the module and/or by the adapter. Positioning means with sliders are provided on these surfaces so as to be able to extract the module and fit it by a translational movement in a direction contained within the plane of the mounting surfaces. The housing comprises a removable portion positioned in the extension of the module in the direction of translation of the positioning means with sliders. The wall of the housing comprises precuts on the circumference of the removable portion. This arrangement makes is possible to easily replace a bulky lighting module such as that of a headlight with style functions.
