Abstract: A telescoping paddle for use with skateboards. The telescoping paddle has a telescoping shaft, a piston leg, a piston spring attached to the telescoping shaft and the piston leg, and a rubber push tip that attaches to the piston leg. Attached to the top side of the top shaft is a handle. A grip attaches to an upper portion of the telescoping shaft. The telescoping paddle also has a telescoping adjuster locking device used for locking the telescoping shaft at a specific length. The telescoping paddle enables better traction, while also providing an additional means to propel a rider forward.
