  • Publication number: 20240068914
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems associated with aerosol collection devices (such as, but not limited to, breath-aerosol collector devices, breathalyzers) are provided. An example aerosol collection device includes a sample transfer adapter configured to receive a sample and a device body connected to the sample transfer adapter. In some examples, the device body defines a flow channel that guides the sample to a filter component, and the filter component contains a buffer solution.

  • Patent number: 11619171
Abstract: A fuel conditioning and control system provides dynamic control and steady state operations of a gas turbine provided fueled by supercritical liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The fuel conditioning and control system comprises a storage for LPG fuel; a fuel delivery sub-system connecting the storage to turbomachinery; and a control system. The gas turbine includes a gas turbine core control that provides at least one operational data of the gas turbine to the control system. The fuel delivery sub-system includes at least one sensor for sensing at least one property of the LPG fuel in the fuel delivery sub-system, where the at least one sensor providing data on the at least one property of the LPG fuel to the control system. The control system analyzes the data on the at least one property of the LPG fuel and at least one operational data of the gas turbine for dynamic control of LPG fuel to the gas turbine under dynamic and steady state conditions.

  • Patent number: 11063539
Abstract: This application provides methods and systems for rapid load support for grid frequency transient events. Example systems may include a turbine having a first controller, a generator coupled to the turbine, where the generator is configured to provide power to an electrical grid, and an exciter configured to provide a magnetic field in the generator. The exciter may include a second controller configured to monitor a first set of electrical properties associated with the electrical grid, determine that a transient event is present on the electrical grid based on the first set of electrical properties, and send a notification of the transient event to the first controller.

  • Patent number: 9671963
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a data storage device which is extremely effective, scalable, and with fast access to the data. At least two front components (1-1?) participate therein, wherebetween a plurality of nodes (2-2?-2? . . . 2n) are connected in parallel by means of an Infiniband (IB) network (3), so that each front component incorporates a series of internal (4) being and external (5) channels, with the internal channels responsible for providing access to the nodes (2-2?-2? . . . 2n), which will all of them be of Infiniband (IB)-type at different speeds 40/56/100 Gbits/s, and the external channels (5) provide the connectivity with the clients may be materialized in Ethernet channels at different speeds 1/10/40 Gbits/s, Fiber Channel (FC) channels or Infiniband channels at different speeds 40/56/100 Gbits/s. The nodes (2) are materialized in a grouping of data storage disks (6) interconnected by an Infiniband (IB)-type network.
