  • Patent number: 9205522
Abstract: An equipment for coating an airfoil of a turbine blade of a turbine engine in a coating block, including a base on which a molding block is positioned for flow of the coating metal, the molding block including a cavity defining a reference plane on the block for positioning the block in space, wherein the base also includes a cradle supporting the blade via six bearing points defining an orientation plane representative of an angular position of the airfoil relative to a root of the blade. The cradle is rotatably movable relative to the base about an axis oriented so as to be substantially parallel to a direction of a leading edge of the blade, to enable a modification in an angle formed between the reference and orientation planes.

  • Publication number: 20150150675
Abstract: An implantable soft tissue prosthesis device comprising a silicone elastomer-shell filled with silicone gel or liquid, which among the layers that constitute its shell includes a barrier layer formed of a low permeability silicone, which impedes the bleeding or diffusion of the silicone gel from the inside of the implant to its surroundings through the shell. This barrier layer is given a coloration different to the other layers of the shell, making it visible in the finished product. The coloration of the barrier layer gives the fabricator of the implant as well as to medical personnel, the possibility to identify the presence of the barrier layer and its homogeneity, improving the safety of the device.

  • Publication number: 20130015618
Abstract: A mounting for locking a turbine engine vane that includes a root and at least one portion outside the root. The mounting can machine the outside portion on a machine tool and includes a stationary jaw for receiving the vane, the jaw including at least six points that form abutments and define a positioning reference system for the vane. The mounting also includes a movable jaw to ensure, during machining the outside portion, holding the vane against the stationary jaw by a clamping mechanism onto the vane root. The movable jaw includes a first clamping mechanism exerting pressure on one of the surfaces of the root, the pressure being substantially perpendicular to the surface. The stationary jaw includes a second clamping mechanism exerting pressure on the leading or trailing edge of the root, the pressure being substantially oriented in the direction of the trailing or leading edge of the root.
