  • Patent number: 8036340
Abstract: An X-ray apparatus includes a converter into which there is integrated a control logic circuit configured to regulate the supply voltage of a high-voltage power supply source of the X-ray apparatus. To this end, the intelligent voltage-voltage, converter is placed between the power battery and the capacitor bank. This intelligent converter is capable of determining the optimum voltage to be delivered to the generator for the radiology examination to be undertaken in regulating the current of the power battery at the necessary level of current.

  • Patent number: 7450689
Abstract: An X-ray apparatus comprises a general switch designed to eliminate the residual energy stored in capacitances of this X-ray apparatus. To this end, the general switch comprises several series-connected switch cells, each comprising a switch component constituted by a sidac parallel-connected with a thyristor. The number of cells is determined as a function of the voltage to be discharged. The apparatus has an external control circuit used to trigger the discharging of the first cell. Once the voltage in the first cell drops, the discharging of the second cell is triggered by an internal control circuit, and so on and so forth. The remaining cells are triggered at the same time, once they support a voltage greater than or equal to a predefined transition voltage. Thus, a chain reaction of the discharging of the stored energy is implemented.

  • Patent number: 7027314
Abstract: A device for converting electrical energy at a high operating frequency, supplied by an electrical network having a capacitor placed between a line and an earth of the device, the capacitance of the capacitor being such that the high-frequency noise is filtered and an inductor placed parallel to the capacitor and having a low resonant frequency corresponding substantially to the frequency of the electrical supply network. The device provide filtering in order to prevent the transmission of high frequency interference from the device to the electrical network while preventing, as far as possible, leakage currents through the filter. The device is useful in the electrical network for an X-ray apparatus.
