  • Patent number: 11975665
Abstract: An electrical assembly includes a track assembly, a support member configured to move along the track assembly, a first ECU connected to the support member, and a second electronic control unit (ECU) connected to the track assembly and configured to provide power from a power source to the track assembly. The first ECU may be configured to disconnect the electrical load and/or cause the electrical load to operate in a low-current mode if a connection system is partially engaged. The second ECU may have a first mode in which the second ECU provides power in a first voltage range to the track assembly. The second ECU may have a second mode in which the second ECU provides power in a second voltage range. The second ECU may be configured to switch between the first mode and the second mode according to information from the first ECU.

  • Publication number: 20230176129
Abstract: Operation for performing diagnostics, such as vehicle diagnostics including short circuit and low impedance diagnostics during a high-voltage (HV) battery pre-charging a power-net of the vehicle and including insulation resistance monitoring diagnostics for measuring an insulation resistance between the power-net and another power-net, with reduced processing time includes measuring a physical parameter (voltage or current signal) as the parameter is being generated by a device-under-test to which the diagnostic process pertains. The diagnostic process requires a stable value of the parameter. The parameter variates while being generated during a beginning time and is stable while being generated during an ending time. While the parameter is being generated during the beginning time, a stable value of the parameter which the parameter will have during the ending time is predicted. The stable value of the parameter is predicted based on variation of measured values of the parameter during the beginning time.

  • Patent number: 11314661
Abstract: An electronic control unit (ECU) for vehicles is described, including memory to store encrypted data and unencrypted data; a main control unit operatively connected to memory to access unencrypted data; and a hardware encryption-decryption device operatively connected to memory to access encrypted/decrypted data for decryption using a hardware algorithm and for encryption using a hardware algorithm. Data in the memory is decrypted by the hardware encryption-decryption device using the hardware algorithm and stored in memory for use by the main control unit. Data in memory is encrypted by the hardware encryption-decryption device using the hardware algorithm for storage in memory. The main control unit and the hardware encryption-decryption device are separate integrate circuits on a same substrate or and are connected by a bus and can process data in parallel.
