Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for publisher and share action integration in a user interface (UI) for automated messaging. In some implementations, information is displayed in a first component and in a second component in a UI on a display. The first component is a publisher configured for composing and sharing messages on different communication channels using different share actions. The second component includes links to data items. When one of the data items is selected, a set of share actions for sharing the selected item using the publisher can be identified and displayed. When one of the displayed share actions is selected, it can be determined that the selected share action is applicable to one of the communication channels. A reference to the selected item can be provided in a message being composed in the publisher for sharing on the one communication channel.

Abstract: A system and method of augmenting image data are described. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving data of an image captured by a camera, the captured image including a region having a visible feature of an object, storing masking data defining a plurality of masks, each mask defining a respective masked portion of the region of the captured image, sampling pixel values at predefined locations of the captured image data, selecting at least one stored mask based on the sampled pixel values, modifying pixel values in the or each selected masked portion of the region of the captured image based on colourisation parameters, and outputting the captured image with the modified pixel values for display. In other embodiments pixel values of one or more identified regions of a face in a target image are modified based on the augmentation characteristics derived from corresponding identified regions of a face in a source image.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method comprising measuring a first power value in a first channel before transmitting a first signal in a second channel A first transmit power value is then determined for transmitting the first signal in the second channel. In addition, a second power value in the first channel is estimated, while transmitting the first signal in the second channel, wherein the second power value is estimated based on at least the measured first power value and the first transmit power value. Further, a third power value is measured in the first channel, while transmitting the first signal in the second channel.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems, methods, and apparatus for electroporation. An example transformable needle includes a first electroporation member defining a first expandable portion, a distal end, and a proximal end, with the first expandable portion defining a first conductive portion. The transformable needle also includes a second electroporation member defining a second expandable portion, a distal end, and a proximal end, with the second expandable portion defining a second conductive portion. The transformable needle further includes a needle casing defining a distal end. The first expandable portion and the second expandable portion are each configured to move between a retracted position and a deployed position. A distance between the first conductive portion of the first expandable portion and the second conductive portion of the second expandable portion is greater in the deployed position than in the retracted position.

Abstract: A smoking device includes a heating chamber for heating a tobacco consumable and a storage portion for storing the tobacco consumable. The storage portion is resealable. In some embodiments, the smoking device is elongate and the storage portion includes a resealable closure situated at or toward an end of the device. Also provided is a smoking kit including the smoking device and a tobacco consumable.

Abstract: A method of communicating between nodes on a plurality of channels within the unlicensed spectrum is disclosed where coordination of the acquiring of the different channels is provided so that a further channel is acquired prior to the occupancy time of the currently used channel expiring. The method involves determining at one node that a channel in the unlicensed band has been acquired for a predetermined occupancy time. Initiating a scan of at least one further channel within the unlicensed spectrum to determine if a further channel is available. Once a predetermined time has passed and within the predetermined occupancy time, acquiring the available channel by transmitting a signal on it.

Abstract: The invention provides a process of incorporation of omega-3 fatty acids such as EPA/DHA into polar lipid molecules present in lecithin, which consists of: (a) an enzymatic exchange reaction between the fatty acids present in the polar lipids of lecithin and the omega-3 fatty acids present in concentrated fish oil, to obtain an oil with a high content of polar lipids and omega-3 fatty acids and (b) a stage of concentration of the polar lipid content of the oil obtained in stage a, by supercritical fractionation or molecular distillation. The composition of the invention promotes at least a 25% peak incremental concentration in plasma of the EPA/DHA when compared to a krill oil derived composition.

Abstract: Systems and methods may be used to provide transcription and translation services. A method may include initializing a plurality of user devices with respective language output selections in a translation group by receiving a shared identifier from the plurality of user devices and transcribing the audio stream to transcribed text. The method may include translating the transcribed text to one or more of the respective language output selections when an original language of the transcribed text differs from the one or more of the respective language output selections. The method may include sending, a user device in the translation group, the transcribed text including translated text in a language corresponding to the respective language output selection for the user device. In an example, the method may include customizing the transcription or the translation, such as to a particular topic, location, user, or the like.

Abstract: A vapor generating system for an electronic cigarette comprises a main liquid store configured to contain a liquid to be vaporised, a dosing chamber configured to receive liquid from the main liquid store, and a liquid regulating arrangement configured to transfer a metered dose of liquid from the main liquid store to the dosing chamber. The vapor generating system further comprises a vaporizing unit configured to transform said metered dose of liquid into a vapor. The main liquid store and the dosing chamber are arranged in a replaceable cartridge. The cartridge is connectable to a cartridge seating of the electronic cigarette and fluidic connection between the main liquid store and the dosing chamber is only established when the cartridge is connected to the cartridge seating.

The suction ring includes a gripper with an opening for receiving and retaining the lens cone, and a flexible skirt joined to the gripper for coupling to the eye with a vacuum force. The flexible skirt includes a circular inner edge and a circular outer edge for contacting the eye surface, and a plurality of circumferentially distributed scleral support protrusions protruding from a circumferential side wall. The end surface of the scleral support protrusions are sloped in a side cross-sectional view. The scleral support protrusions have a length to width ratio from 1.1 to 2.1, and an arc-angle ratio of the scleral support protrusions to the gaps between them is from 2.2 to 3.0.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for securing data access to machine learning training data at a plurality of distributed computing devices. Electronic content including original data that corresponds to a preferred data security level is divided into a plurality of microsegments. The plurality of microsegments is restrictively distributed to a plurality of computing devices which apply transcription labels to the plurality of microsegments. The labeled microsegments are reconstructed into training data which is then used to train a machine learning model while facilitating an improvement in data security of the original data included with the training data from the reconstructed microsegments.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for performing secondary analyses of nucleotide sequencing data in a time-efficient manner. Some embodiments include performing a secondary analysis iteratively while sequence reads are generated by a sequencing system. Secondary analyses can encompass both alignment of sequence reads to a reference sequence (e.g., the human reference genome sequence) and utilization of this alignment to detect differences between a sample and the reference. Secondary analysis can enable detection of genetic differences, variant detection and genotyping, identification of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), small insertions and deletion (indels) and structural changes in the DNA, such as copy number variants (CNVs) and chromosomal rearrangements.

Abstract: A method for controlling an aerosol generating device includes receiving an indication to start an aerosol generating session via a user input element; receiving a temperature of a heater measured by a temperature sensor; retrieving a session counter value from a memory; controlling the heater to perform an aerosol generating session according to the temperature of the heater and the session counter value; and when the temperature of the heater becomes lower than a first predetermined temperature, resetting the session counter value. Control circuitry configured to perform the method and an aerosol generating device including the control circuitry are also provided.
