  • Patent number: 8057348
Abstract: The differential for vehicles comprises a rotatable carcass (1) inside which are housed a pair of planetary gears (2) rotatably integral with the axle shafts of two of the wheels of the vehicle, and at least a pair of satellite gears (5) linked to each other and movable to each other, each of said satellite gears (5) being rotatably integral with one of said planetary gears (2), and it is characterized in that said satellite gears (5) are linked to each other by threaded cylinders (3) with inverted threads with the same pitch and diameter. It permits always the differentiation of rotation between the wheels.

  • Patent number: 8005046
Abstract: A system, method and computer program for dynamic frequency allocation for packet switched services in which radio channels used for packet switched services may be dynamically allocated to meet quality of service (QoS) requirements utilizing a dynamic frequency and channel allocation system. The achievable throughput is estimated in the available channels. Further, the user or application is able to specify the level of service desired and the system, method and computer program will select a channel assignment to meet the desired level of service. When the channels to be assigned have been selected, the system, method and computer program will evaluate if the new channel assignment will cause excessive interference to any other ongoing connection. In such case the ongoing connection will be re-assigned to another suitable radio channel.

  • Patent number: 7676209
Abstract: A method of channel allocation in a cellular communication network wherein a radio channel is to be selected for establishment of a connection in an environment with potentially interfering signals, the method comprising: establishing a radio channel candidate; processing the radio channel candidate with potentially interfering signals and calculating a carrier to interference ratio (CIR) for the selected carrier frequency of the radio channel candidate and the potentially interfering signals; calculating a dominant interference ratio (DIR) being the ratio of the strongest potentially interfering signal with respect to the other potentially interfering signals; and using criteria based on at least one of the dominant interference ratio and the carrier to interference ratio in a selection process for selecting a channel for the connection to be established.
