  • Patent number: 5772077
Abstract: A combination hair styling implement and valve actuator attachment for cylindrical aerosol and pump dispenser containers of the type having a dispensing valve in an upper end thereof. The elongate hair styling implement has a rear portion which when depressed opens the dispensing valve and expels fluid in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the container in a generally conical-shaped spray pattern. The rear portion may contain a spray nozzle and have a central bore for attaching it to an existing discharge tube projecting from the top end of the container or may be configured to fit onto an existing spray nozzle plunger cap at the top end of a discharge tube. The device has a flat portion extending forwardly a distance from the rear portion at an angle relative to an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the container and generally parallel to the outer periphery of the conical-shaped spray pattern.

  • Patent number: 5239711
Abstract: A head support spans the entire width of a shampoo bowl or sink of the type having neck depression in the front wall and supports the head of a person during rinsing operations. The head support is a flexible elongate rectangular strip of open mesh netting of having a rectangular generally J-shaped clip releasably attached at each end by hook and loop type fasteners. A second rectangular generally J-shaped clip is secured to the opposed side walls of the shampoo bowl or sink and releasably receive and engage the curved portion of the clips at the ends of the netting. The clips on at the ends of the netting are adjustable such that the length of the strip between the end clips can be increased or decreased to span shampoo bowls of different widths and the slack or tension of the supporting span can be adjusted for supporting the head at various distances above the bottom wall of the shampoo bowl to provide a comfortable angle of the person's neck.

  • Patent number: 4937890
Abstract: A flat-folded expandable urinary aid for use by females which allows them to urinate from a standing position has an elongate flat-folded tubular portion terminating at an outlet end and a flat-folded funnel-shaped portion extending outwardly and rearwardly from the opposite end of the tubular portion terminating at an inlet end. The tubular portion and funnel-shaped portions are formed by a pair of opposed planar side walls hinged together from the inlet end to the outlet end along their top and bottom longitudinal edges. The side walls of the funnel-shaped portion are scored or creased along a pair of lines converging angularly from the juncture of the funnel-shaped portion with the tubular portion to intersect at a point approximately one-half the length of the funnel-shaped portion.
