  • Patent number: 10125468
Abstract: A stay-in-place footing form assembly includes a plurality of inner form boards serially aligned and joined by inner joining brackets, a plurality of outer form boards serially aligned and joined by outer joining brackets, a plurality of lower spacing rails, each disposed between and connecting base brackets in the inner and outer joining brackets aligned laterally, and a plurality of upper spacing rails, each disposed between and connecting top brackets in the inner and outer joining brackets aligned laterally. The lower spacing rails include first rebar receptacle(s) for seating horizontal rebars on the rails, and the upper spacing rails include second rebar receptacle(s) for holding vertical dowel rebars therein. The inner and outer form boards are insulation boards that have an ability of absorbing lateral forces of earthquakes exerted to a concrete footing formed in the stay-in-place footing form, and an ability of insulating the concrete footing from surrounding temperatures.

  • Patent number: 8857116
Abstract: A prefabricated insulation wall panel for construction of a wall includes two elongated studs, each having a planar web section and inner and outer flanges, one or more insulation boards vertically disposed between the two studs, and one or more reinforcing mesh fastened to the flanges of the elongated studs on inner, outer or both sides of the wall panel. The reinforcing mesh has a preformed overhang section extending laterally beyond the elongated stud. The web section includes multiple through-holes spaced apart vertically, closer to the inner flange than to the outer flange. The insulation board is thinner than the width of the wed section, disposed with its inner surface against inner flanges of the studs and two side edges covering the through-holes on the web section of the stud, thus establishing a distance between the outer surface of the insulation board and the outer flanges of the studs.

  • Patent number: 8776468
Abstract: An insulation roof or floor panel for construction of a composite insulated concrete roof or floor includes two elongated studs, each having a web section and upper and lower flanges, a plurality of deformation resistant elements protruding from the upper flange of the studs and spaced apart along the upper flange of each stud, and an insulation board secured between the two elongated studs. The insulation board has a thickness less than the width of the web section of the studs, with the lower surface of the insulation board against the upper flanges of the studs, thereby establishing a distance between the upper surface of the insulation board and the upper flanges of the studs. Further provided are a composite insulated concrete roof or floor system with enhanced resistance to deformation, constructed using the insulation roof or floor panel, and the method of construction.

The web section includes multiple through-holes spaced apart in the body portion of the stud, disposed off center in a transverse direction and closer to the inner flange than to the outer flange.
