  • Publication number: 20240176303
Abstract: A horological calotte (200) forming a casing for a horological movement (400) according to a calibre model in a predetermined family. The movement includes a projecting control member (410) whose distal part (411) is distant from a movement axis (DM) by a radial value (VR) specific to the model. The calotte includes a ring (220) specific to the model, which is fitted in a single angular position with a bottom (210) and a cover (230) to enclose the movement (400). Its outer shape is identical for each calibre, with reference shoulders (240) defining a calotte axis (DC). The ring offsets the movement axis relative to the calotte axis in the radial direction (DR) of the control member (410), by a value such that the distal part (411) is distant from the calotte axis by a predefined value (VP) identical for all calibres of the family.

  • Publication number: 20240176305
Abstract: A device (100) for testing a timepiece, including a case (1) receiving calottes (200) or watch heads (300), each calotte (200) enclosing a movement (400) and its projecting control member. The case (1) includes, removable and stackable on top of one another, a back, a frame (90) including at least one measuring support (500) forming a lower support for a calotte (200) or watch head (300), and an upper portion including a cover (10) with a locking element (16) for compressing an upper resilient element (80, 83) and holding each calotte (200) and/or each watch head (300). Each measuring support (500) is supported by a sole made of a resilient material (921) and carries an internal running sensor (510). Each movement (400) of the case (1) is phonically isolated from the other movements (400) by other resilient elements in the case (1).

  • Patent number: 11372375
Abstract: A portable device, and related method, that allows the values of one or more parameters characterising the operation of a mechanical watch to be measured. The device is provided with a contact microphone including a contact piece and a piezoelectric element. The contact piece is brought into physical contact with the case of a watch during a measurement period. The device further includes a power source, such as a rechargeable or replaceable battery, a microprocessor, a memory, and a screen for displaying the values measured, preferably a touch-sensitive screen. Preferably, the dimensions of the device are of a same order of magnitude as the case of a wristwatch. The device may have the shape of a horological eyeglass.

  • Publication number: 20210116869
Abstract: A case configured to receive a plurality of mechanical watch movements in the wound state, each movement being housed inside a compartment, configured to receive and maintain the movement according to a predefined orientation. In this position, the winding buttons of the movements are positioned facing respective microphones which are mounted inside the case. The microphones are configured such that they cancel the noises detected, such that the acoustic measurements of each of the movements are essentially not disturbed by the noises produced by the adjacent movements. Also, a method for testing a plurality of mechanical movements installed in the case, and to a testing system which includes the case. The movements are measured by a plurality of cycles of consecutive and successive measurement periods.
