The embodiment may include identifying user preferences for one or more device parameters based on image recognition and machine learning of the photograph and the captured user feedback, respectively. The embodiment may further include generating a corpus. The embodiment may also include, in response to determining a user is preparing to capture a photograph, deriving one or more viewfinder tags for a scene currently within a viewfinder of a capture device. The embodiment may further include identifying one or more device parameters based on a matching of the one or more derived viewfinder tags and the one or more contextual tags. The embodiment may also include, in response to determining current user settings of the one or more identified device parameters do not match the identified user preferences, performing an action.
