  • Patent number: 10294626
Abstract: Method for installation of an offshore tower, which comprises: providing a tower mast, piles, anchoring means, a platform with securing means, and buoyancy means with securing means; fastening piles to platform; fastening mast to platform in the use position; providing actuation and/or braking means between piles and platform; providing a platform between lower zone and upper zone; anchoring means to piles and to platform; launching buoyancy means; launching base assembly (platform, mast, piles, anchoring means); securing base assembly to buoyancy means using securing means; transferring transport assembly to tower location; actuating actuation and/or braking means until piles are fixed in the seabed; fastening piles to seabed; actuating actuation and/or braking means until platform is on a level with pile upper zone; mounting wind turbine on mast; removing securing means and withdrawing buoyancy means from platform; and tensioning anchoring means.

  • Patent number: 10221835
Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to provide a multi-platform tower that allows production costs to be significantly reduced, since the tower is suitable for different types of turbines. For this purpose, the improvements consist in obtaining a profile which is based on frustoconical sections having various inclinations and which corresponds geometrically with a load envelope obtained from the superimposition of theoretical profiles of respective towers designed specifically for a plurality of different turbines. Given that the lower part of the turbine comprises securing means having a different diameter, it is necessary to include a series of adaptors or reels (4-4?) having a frustoconical configuration and which allow the tower to be adapted to any type of turbine. If necessary, a second adaptor (11), formed consisting of ring in the form of a wedge, could be included, the adaptor modifying the angle of the plane in which the blades rotate, thereby distancing the free end of the blades from the tower.

  • Publication number: 20170204836
Abstract: It is foreseen that the footing be executed in an excavation, such that a lower concrete slab (2), with its corresponding steel reinforcement, is obtained at the base of the same, and upon which a plurality of prefabricated partitions (3), likewise of concrete, are radially disposed in the shape of a crown at a prefabricated or executed in situ concrete zone (4), such that the spaces defined between these elements are filled with the material (5) obtained by means of the excavation, in order finally to achieve a total or partial upper slab (1) upon this assembly. In this way, and by means of the inclusion of prefabricated elements, the construction works are simplified, which affects favourably both the time frame of execution and the fabrication costs.

  • Publication number: 20170016242
Abstract: The invention relates to a system having multiple improvements compared to conventional systems for building wind towers made of section of reinforced concrete, in order to significantly reduce building costs. Such improvements include: obtaining a profile extruding from truncated cone sections that conform as much as possible to the ideal curved profile of the tower; using pre-stretched cables, which are factory-tensioned before installing the rebar, and tendons that pass through the arch stones, making it possible to link various arch stones with one another; and reducing the thickness of the arch stones; and arranging the rebar in only one layer, as well as other improvements described through the present invention.
