Patent number: 11943287Abstract: It is proposed a technical solution to leverage the characteristics and generally speaking, the performance of DLT networks. This solution proposes building a federation of DLT networks which work together regardless of the underlying technologies to guarantee data consistency, wider consensus and enhanced trust. The proposed solution includes, among others, a distributed transport mechanism for the exchange of control data between the different networks of the federation; and the spread and storage of “proofs of history” of the network to protect and validate the connected networks integrity.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Telefónica IoT & Big Data Tech, S.A.Inventors: Alfonso De La Rocha Gómez-Arevalillo, María Teresa Nieto Galán, Jose Luis Núñez Diaz

Patent number: 11637711Abstract: Method and system which provides an increase in the basic security, performance, and trust of consensus algorithms in distributed systems based on the use of quantum technology (quantum computing mechanisms). In order to do that, it is built a quantum trust network layer using quantum entanglement between nodes to avoid the current problems in consensus algorithms.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2020Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignee: Telefónica IoT & Big Data Tech, S.A.Inventors: Alfonso De La Rocha Gómez-Arevalillo, José Luis Nuñez Díaz

Patent number: 11374763Abstract: It is proposed a technical solution to leverage the level of trust in scenarios with a high number of independent computing nodes from independent and heterogeneous DLT networks. This solution defines the technical modules required to implement a self-governed decentralized infrastructure that ensures that every participant node (computing node) in a DLT network connected to the proposed system (implementing the proposed method) can exploit additional validation and consensus policies in their transactions and smart contracts. Through the proposed mechanism they can enjoy an equivalent level of trust as if all the nodes from the connected networks were part of a single common DLT network. The proposed solution enables the implementation of dedicated validation policies to leverage the level of trust of any of the connected networks without the need of dedicated infrastructure.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: HIPERBARIC, S.A.Inventors: Alfonso De La Rocha Gómez-Arevalillo, José Luis Nuñez Díaz

Publication number: 20200235921Abstract: Method and system for recovering cryptographic keys of a blockchain network. A computing device or an element associated with the same has stored a pair of cryptographic keys representative of the identity of the user in a blockchain network, including a public key and a private key. An identity manager maintains a registry of the user in a distributed directory. When a request from the user is received due to the loss/theft of their private key, the information on the public key of the user is eliminated from the registry and the user is revoked as the owner of a smart contract, a new pair of keys is generated, stored in the device or in said element; and the user is identified and authenticated. Once correctly authenticated, the manager receives the new public key of the user, updates the registry and updates the ownership of the smart contract.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2019Publication date: July 23, 2020Applicant: TELEFONICA DIGITAL ESPAÑA, S.L.U.Inventors: Alfonso De La Rocha Gómez-Arevalillo, Jose Luis Nuñez Diaz

Publication number: 20140149511Abstract: This invention refers to a method for providing presence information in telecommunication systems. It comprises the steps of: classifying the plurality of presence information statuses, generated by a plurality of telecommunication services associated to a user A, in groups depending on the telecommunication service; publishing simultaneously the plurality of presence information statuses of user A on a presence server; and notifying a set of presence information statuses from the plurality of the presence information statuses of user A, to a client of the presence server which is a watcher of user A. Finally the set of presence information statuses, notified by the presence server to the watcher, may be displayed on means adapted for displaying content according to their corresponding relevance, priority and expiration time.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 1, 2012Publication date: May 29, 2014Applicant: TELEFONICA, S.A.Inventors: Jose Luis Nuñez Diaz, Eduardo Fullea Carrera, Rafael Morón Abad

Publication number: 20140082075Abstract: This invention refers to a method for managing a converged address book capability of a user with an address book and subscribed to converged address book service characterised by defining a service tuple in a presence document stored in a presence server; setting a value of converged address book capability in the service tuple indicating whether converged address book service is supported by the user; publishing the converged address book capability of the user and a user identifier on a converged address book server; receiving updates from the presence server of converged address capabilities of the contacts of the users; and updating a network address book, stored in a converged address book XML document management server, with converged address capabilities of served users.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2012Publication date: March 20, 2014Inventors: Eduardo Fullea Carrera, Laura Garcia Garcia, Jose Juan Sanchez Dasi, Jose Luis Nuñez Diaz

Publication number: 20130205228Abstract: A method for managing presence information. It comprises setting, by a user, a hyper-availability status to active, at any time said user wants to be contacted by his peers in a presence service, and selecting, by said user, at least one service and/or communication means he wants his peers to contact him through, when in said hyper-availability status by associating the at least one service and/or communication means selection to said hyper-availability status.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 21, 2011Publication date: August 8, 2013Applicant: TELEFONICA, S.A.Inventors: Eduardo Fullea Carrera, Bienvenido Gómez, José Luis Nuñez Diaz, José Juan Sánchez Dasi

Publication number: 20130110776Abstract: The method and system for synchronizing social networks and Personal Contact Cards (PCC) update the profile of a user published in an Open Mobile Alliance Converged Address Book (OMA CAB) system with the information published and updated on one or more social networks to which the user subscribes, by means of synchronization by polling or synchronization by subscription/notification. To do so, the user sends prior authorization to access the user profile published in the social network to a telecommunication services provider operating the OMA CAB system.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 7, 2010Publication date: May 2, 2013Applicant: TELEFONICA, S.A.Inventors: Jose Luis Nunez Diaz, Eduardo Fullea Carrera, Rafael Moron Abad, Jose Juan Sanchez Dasi, Bienvenido Gomez Carreno
