Abstract: A gas turbine exhaust strut installed in an exhaust case of a gas turbine is disclosed which includes a trailing portion configured with an inner surface for mounting to an inner annular member of the exhaust case and an outer surface for mounting to an outer annular member of the exhaust case, a block attached to the trailing portion, an angled piece attached to the block and configured with a surface on a pressure side of the strut angled with respect to a surface of the trailing portion on the pressure side of the strut, and a transition piece attached to the block and configured with a surface on the pressure side of the strut for smoothing the transition between the height of the block on the pressure side of the strut and the height of the trailing portion on the pressure side of the strut. A method of refurbishing an exhaust strut installed in an exhaust case of gas turbine while retaining at least a portion of the strut in the exhaust case is also disclosed.

Abstract: A gas turbine (10) has an annular exhaust gas casing (16) which is arranged at the outlet of the turbine at a distance from the supporting foundation (22) and includes an outer shell (20a). Sagging of the exhaust gas casing (16) is avoided by supporting devices (26, 27, 28), each with a predetermined supporting direction, being arranged between the foundation (22) and the outer shell (20a) of the exhaust gas casing (16) for absorbing deformations of the exhaust gas casing (16), which are fastened by one end on the outer shell (20a) of the exhaust gas casing (16) and supported by the other end on the foundation (22), and by each of the supporting devices (26, 27, 28) having a pre-loaded spring support (30) which acts in a supporting direction.

Abstract: An extended release pharmaceutical composition comprising metoprolol succinate and at least two pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, wherein the first pharmaceutically acceptable excipient is an extended release agent; the second pharmaceutically acceptable excipient is selected from a binder, a diluent and mixtures thereof; and metoprolol succinate is in a crystalline form having a D50 ranging from 5 to 16 microns and a D90 below 50 microns.
