Abstract: A wind turbine wherein the drive train section corresponding to the main shaft and the first stage of the gearbox is structured by two separable modules and comprises a connecting device between the main shaft and the planet carrier configured to allow a flexible coupling between them. The first module comprises the main shaft, its housing and two bearings as a supporting mechanism of the main shaft in its housing. The second module comprises the first stage of the gearbox, its housing and a double taper rolling bearing on the side adjacent to the first module as a supporting mechanism of the first stage of the gearbox in its housing.

Abstract: A planetary gear unit (21) of a gearbox of a wind turbine comprising a sun gear (27), planet gears (25, 25?), a ring gear (24), a planet carrier (29) and an outer casing (31); the ring gear (24) being mounted on the outer casing (31); the planet carrier (29) comprising a bogie plate (35) where planet gears (25, 25?) are rotatably mounted on planet shafts (41); the planet carrier (29) comprising a main body (51) and a backplate (53) which can be joined/disjoined to the main body (51) for facilitating the assembly/disassembly of the planetary gear unit (21); the planet carrier (29) being rotatably mounted on said outer casing (31) by means of a first bearing (72) in contact with said main body (51) at the rotor side and by means of a second bearing (73) in contact with said backplate (53) at the generator side.

Abstract: Lubricant retention system in oil baths already existing in a gearbox, mounting an oil screen (7) that, at its upper part, stops the passage of oil from the first stage (5) to the second stage (6) using a system formed by a radial joint (14) that makes radial contact with a bushing (15) that turns together with the gearbox shaft and, to keep it from rotating, is furnished with an angular locking system (16). The second retention system mounts an oil screen (7), which in its rear part closes off the passage of oil from the first stage (5) to the oil deposit through the main collector (13) during rotation without current by means of a receptacle/tray (12) welded to the screen (7) at the existing opening or window (10) for communication on this screen.
