    Abstract: The invention relates to a composition and related methods for enhancing the immune response and/or decreasing the size or growth rate of a tumor volume in a subject. The composition comprises a recombinant MVA encoding IL-12 and, optionally, a Tumor Associated Antigen (“TAA”). In some embodiments, the MVA also encodes 4-1BBL and/or a second MVA encoding 4-1BBL is coadministered to the subject. In some embodiments of the invention, methods comprise injecting these MVAs intratumorally. In some embodiments, the recombinant MVAs are injected intraperitoneally to stimulate an immune response to peritoneal tumors.
