  • Patent number: 8555600
Abstract: A method for erecting a pre-stressed sectionalized and segmented concrete tower for wind power or heliostatic generator or chimney is provided. The method includes the step of providing a plurality of assembling supports and lifting harnesses in order to support to the concrete segments for assembling concrete section from the concrete segments using a small capacity crane, and installing, with a high capacity crane the assembled concrete sections to conform the concrete tower. The lifting harness provides safety scaffolds for personnel during prestressing.

  • Patent number: 8468776
Abstract: In a flange to adapt a wind power generator to a pre-stressed concrete tower, the flange includes an annular tapered pre-stressed concrete shell having a bulging which inwardly protrudes toward a central axis of the flange, and a steel component to be embedded within the pre-stressed concrete shell. The bulging includes a horizontal flat surface for settling the steel component. The steel component includes an annular tapered body having an upper and lower end, a plurality of vertical and radially extended fins joined to an external face of the steel component, a connecting ring joined to the body upper end and including a plurality of holes for introducing bolts to join the wind power generator, and an annular base joined to the body lower end, which is settled on the bulging.

  • Publication number: 20110299937
Abstract: A pre-stressed marine foundation includes a concrete base to be placed on a sea bed, a body placed over the concrete base, and a concrete platform. The body includes closed sections, each closed section composed of a pre-stressed concrete segmented column that has an upper extreme and a lower extreme joined at the base, and opened sections joined at sides of the closed sections, each open section composed of a structured beam frame. The concrete platform is joined at the upper extremes of the concrete columns.

  • Publication number: 20100139181
Abstract: A method for erecting a pre-stressed sectionalized and segmented concrete tower for wind power or heliostatic generator or chimney comprising the steps of (a) building a tower foundation; (b) fabricating a plurality of concrete segments having internal ducts for introducing pre-stressing tendons; (c) fabricating a plurality of assembling supports and lifting harnesses for proving a support to the concrete segments when assembled in tower sections; (d) installing, with a crane the concrete segments to conform the concrete tower section; (e) engaging a lifting harness to the concrete tower section, lift the whole section of tower, mount such concrete section on the foundation and disengage the lifting harness and/or the assembling support; (f) assembling the following concrete tower sections though the use of assembling supports and mounting such tower sections through the use of lifting harnesses; and (g) joining the concrete sections through prestressing tendons to provide a rigid tower.
