  • Patent number: 11920559
Abstract: A floating platform for high-power wind turbines, comprising a concrete substructure, said concrete substructure forming the base of the platform, which remains semi-submerged in the operating position, and consisting of a square lower slab on which a series of beams and five hollow reinforced concrete cylinders are constructed, distributed at the corners and the center of said lower slab; a metal superstructure supported on the concrete substructure and forming the base for connection with the wind turbine tower, said tower being coupled at the center thereof; and metal covers covering each of the cylinders, on which the metal superstructure is supported and to which vertical pillars are secured, linked together by beams, which join at the central pillar by an element whereon the base of the wind turbine tower is secured.

  • Patent number: 11428582
Abstract: An overheat detection system comprising a controller for declaring the overheat, and two wiring connections running along a monitored system and configured to react upon overheat. The controller is configured to determine an electrical status of each wiring connection at least between operative and inoperative, the inoperative status corresponding to an electrical anomaly thereof, and electrically connect or disconnect the wiring connections depending on the electrical status thereof, wherein the declaration of overheat is based on a dynamic reconfiguration of the overheat detection system.

  • Publication number: 20220080734
Abstract: In an example, a surface inspection apparatus includes a light source to illuminate a portion of a surface in a print apparatus, a light detection apparatus and processing circuitry. The light detection apparatus may receive diffusely reflected light and specularly reflected light from the portion of the surface, and may comprise a detection element for detecting the specularly reflected light. The processing circuitry may comprise a comparison module to determine a relationship between an intensity of the detected diffusely reflected light and the detected specularly reflected light and a quality module to evaluate if the surface meets a quality criterion based on the relationship.
