Abstract: The method comprises viewing by of a magnetic recording camera the zone for the opening of vials and for metered filling thereof and continuously recording the zones visually during the operation of the installation and simultaneously carrying out the identification marking of each full glass container, with indelible marking means, at the outlet of the installation.

Abstract: Apparatus for accumulating paper sheets singulated from a paper sheet feeder on a registration deck. The apparatus includes: a sheet feeder for feeding the topmost paper sheet from a stack of paper sheets; an accumulator having an accumulation deck for receiving the sheets of paper from the sheet feeder; a registration stop for stopping the advance of the paper sheets along the accumulation deck; a deflector downstream of the sheet feeder and above the accumulation deck; and a pair of top and bottom rollers defining a nip, the nip being located adjacent, upstream and above the deflector and downstream of the sheet feeder.

Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing a cut tape comprising, structure for receiving a cut tape, structure for feeding the cut tape from the receiving structure, the feeding structure including a solenoid operable for causing the feeding structure to feed the cut tape; and structure for controlling the feeding structure, the controlling structure including a microprocessor, the solenoid electrically connected to the microprocessor, the controlling structure including a switch electrically connected to the microprocessor, and the microprocessor programmed for causing the solenoid to operate in response to actuation of the switch.

Abstract: Apparatus for processing letters, comprising: an elongate deck; structure for feeding respective letters in a downstream path of travel extending longitudinally along the deck, the feeding structure including a pair of axially parallel spaced rollers, the feeding structure including an endless belt looped about the rollers and disposed in engagement therewith; and structure for supporting the feeding structure, the supporting structure including a stationary frame, the supporting structure including a pair of elongate parallel-spaced support members pivotably attached to the frame and extending therefrom into overhanging relationship with the deck, and the feeding structure removably connected to the support members.

Abstract: An article of manufacture for use in letter processing apparatus, the article comprising; a frame including two elongate generally rectangularly-shaped side walls; a pair of axially parallel spaced rollers extending between the side walls of the frame and rotatably connected thereto, each of the rollers including an outer surface having formed therein a plurality of circumferentially-extending ridges which are respectively serrated in transverse cross-section; and an elongate endless belt including an inner surface having formed therein a plurality of longitudinally-extending ridges which are respectively serrated in transverse cross-section, and the belt looped about the rollers for disposing the belt ridges in meshing engagement with the ridges of the respective rollers.
