    Abstract: A method and system senses the attitude of an accelerating object by measuring acceleration with accelerometers in three orthogonal axes and measuring angular rate with angular rate sensors disposed about each such axis to compute attitude of the object accurately relative to a vertical axis. A processor updates a quaternion representation of attitude based upon the angular rate of the object, and a corrective rate signal is determined from level frame acceleration as a reference for a Kalman filter in calculating the attitude of the object. When velocity or airspeed is available from an external source, an aiding algorithm is employed to provide accurate attitude representations throughout all flight regimes.

    Abstract: The invention encompasses isolation, culture and characterization of goblet cells in vitro from mammalian conjuctiva. Goblet cells can be cultured from conjunctiva of such mammals as, e.g., humans, rats, mice, rabbits and the like. In another aspect of the invention, the culture of goblet cells has a concentration of pure goblet cells of 10% or greater. In a further embodiment, the invention comprises an immortalized goblet cell line.

In each embodiment, a single commoning layer (e.g., copper) is used, being partially removed following the first deposition. The solder is deposited using an electroplating process (electroless or electrolytic) and the commoning bar in both depositing steps. An information handling system utilizing the circuitized substrate formed in accordance with the invention is also described.

Temperature compensation and frequency compensation may also be performed to update the quarternion.

    Abstract: Many sensor information processing applications currently use monochrome B-scan presentations to exhibit processing results from radar, sonar, spectral estimation, seismic profiling, radio astronomy, bio-engineering, and infrared imaging. The use of color for such raster display presentations have been limited to the coding of amplitude values for a fixed set of hue/luminance colors to convey recognition by the human operator. Hue and luminance are used here independently to convey two orthogonal pieces of low signal-to-noise sensor information simultaneously to the operator for quick and accurate recognition. The net result is an added degree of freedom available on a single display surface, which not only improves operator recognition and reaction time for critical events, but precludes the necessity of a second display presentation for the alternate information and subsequent correlation of two data sets by visual comparison.
