  • Publication number: 20230123787
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an animal model of human disease. More specifically, this disclosure relates to a rodent model of mood disorders such as unipolar depression and an anxiety disorder. Disclosed herein are genetically modified rodent animals that carry a humanized G protein-coupled receptor 156 (GPR156) gene that encodes a mutant human GPR156 protein comprising Asp at an amino acid position corresponding to position 533 in a full length wild type human GPR156 protein.

  • Publication number: 20190032156
Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for assessing CRISPR/Cas-induced recombination of a target genomic locus with an exogenous donor nucleic acid in vivo or ex vivo. The methods and compositions employ non-human animals comprising a CRISPR reporter such as a genomically integrated CRISPR reporter for detecting and measuring CRISPR/Cas-induced repair of a coding sequence for a catalytically inactive reporter protein through recombination with an exogenous donor nucleic acid. Methods and compositions are also provided for making and using these non-human animals.

  • Patent number: 8504923
Abstract: A method and media engine for rendering a graphical interface on a device is disclosed. A skinning theme document describing rendering characteristics of the graphical interface is parsed. The document comprising at least one data element representing data generated by an application and at least one custom event representing events generated by the application. The parsed information is stored in a template including at least one named data element and at least one custom event describing the graphical interface using a markup language. Updated data element or custom event information is received from an application through an interaction interface. The template is updated with the received updated data element or custom event information. The template is rendered as the graphical interface wherein the graphical user interface presents one or more data elements from each application is rendered.

  • Publication number: 20070271523
Abstract: A media engine for creating a graphical interface for an application on a device is disclosed. The media engine comprises an interaction interface for notifying the media engine of changes to the application, a renderer for rendering the graphical interface, a parser for parsing, from a template file, template information for controlling how the renderer renders the graphical interface, and a layout manager for optionally controlling the display of template information.

  • Publication number: 20040250489
Abstract: The invention correspond to a elongated member (1) made of metal, or another suitable material, with appropriate structural features for construction, and a structural slab (6) which uses said elongated members, which is able to more than satisfy the structural requirements and isolation requirements of the related project, and requires a significantly fewer number of auxiliary supporting elements during the construction, which involves low purchase costs of the different related components, transportation and installation in situ. The cross section of said elongated member (1) is hollow and opened on top and its outline is similar to an upside-down “T”.

  • Publication number: 20040200179
Abstract: Supporting structure for supporting the leveled ceiling, or other constructive elements, of an habitable construction, where said supporting structure can be fabricated with only three different kinds of structural elements, joined with each other by screws or any other suitable joining mean, where said structural elements have a simple shape which allow a fast, simple and cheap construction of very flexible ceiling supporting structures, which do not get deformed nor attacked by termites, as the time goes on, and which are able to satisfy the requirements of different kinds of habitable constructions that normally involve the supporting of ceilings in the lower part of rough works, like truss, slabs and other related elements.
