  • Publication number: 20230358346
Abstract: A kink-resistant hose comprises a tubing and at least one anti-kinking member disposed within an interior volume of the tubing. The outer diameter of the anti-kinking member is less than the inner diameter of the tubing, wherein the anti-kinking member and the tubing are coextruded such that the anti-kinking member is free-floating within the interior volume of the tubing. A cross-sectional area of the anti-kinking member is less than the area of a circle with diameter equal to the maximal diameter of the anti-kinking member. The anti-kinking member thereby defines propped open flow channels, extending radially between an outer surface of the anti-kinking member and an inner surface of the tubing at a kink point, for conveying fluid through a kink in the tubing. A restraint mechanism located in at least the first distal end of the tubing restrains longitudinal movement of the anti-kinking member through the tubing.

  • Publication number: 20220025999
Abstract: Disclosed is a reinforced hose comprising a pressure sleeve concentrically installed over an outer surface of the hose tubing, either above or below the ferrule. An inner diameter of the pressure sleeve is larger than an outer diameter of the hose tubing and the first terminal end of the pressure sleeve is longitudinally aligned with the first open end of the hose tubing. The longitudinal length of the pressure sleeve is greater than that of the ferrule and extends beyond a proximal end of the ferrule. A first interference joint couples the outer surface of the hose tubing to an inner surface of the pressure sleeve, the first interference joint comprising a contact patch located between the second terminal end of the pressure sleeve and the proximal end of the ferrule.

  • Patent number: 10953446
Abstract: An apparatus for forming a round or oval shaped duct for all AC systems in one continuous operation where two driving rolls advance a flat metal sheet to at least one multi-positioning bending roll, where the at least one bending roll is moveable to a bending position for different curvatures and a non-bending position. The driving rolls advance the sheet through while the bending roll bends the sheet to form the curved sides, and the bending roll in the non-bending position form the flat sides of the oval shaped duct. A position sensor detects the position of the flat metal sheet in the rolls to control the location along the sheet where the bending roll is moved to either of the bending or non-bending positions while the driving rolls are stopped. An adhesive dispenser joins both ends of the sheet, resulting in a complete duct.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming an oval shaped duct, as well as a round duct for all required sizes and thicknesses for an AC system, in one continuous operation where two driving rolls advance a flat metal sheet to at least one multi-positioning bending roll, where the at least one bending roll is moveable to a bending position for different curvatures and a non-bending position. The driving rolls advance the sheet through while the bending roll bends the sheet to form the curved sides, and the bending roll in the non-bending position form the flat sides of the oval shaped duct. • Patent number: 7055298
Abstract: A filling and sealing device includes an upper part forming a bell and a lower part forming a bowl, receiving a container to be sealed with a film in the chamber defined by the two parts. The upper part has a wall, on the side supplying the sealing film, inserting and filling elements emerging inside the chamber between the sealing film and the lower edge of the wall for inserting products into the chamber and for filling the container therein. Preferably, the upper part also includes above the inserting and filling elements, a slot for passing through the sealing film, closing and locking elements with controlled actuation for closing the slot and lock the film relative to the upper part, and elements for introducing and/or removing fluid (gas).

  • Patent number: 6748726
Abstract: A sealing device includes a top part forming a bell and a bottom part forming a vat, receiving a container to be sealed with a film in the chamber defined by the top and bottom parts. The top part includes on a side supplying the film, a slot for the passage of the film running through a wall of the top part, and a device, preferably an inflatable pipe, for obstructing the slot and blocking the film. The wall of the top part also includes a device for inserting and/or extracting fluid, opening inside the chamber between the slot and the wall lower edge, for extracting gas under vacuum, injecting gas and/or filling the container.
