Abstract: A dynamic text-to-speech (TTS) process and system are described. In response to receiving a command to provide information to a user, a device retrieves information and determines user and environment attributes including: (i) a distance between the device and the user when the user uttered the query; and (ii) voice features of the user. Based on the user and environment attributes, the device determines a likely mood of the user, and a likely environment in which the user and user device are located in. An audio output template matching the likely mood and voice features of the user is selected. The audio output template is also compatible with the environment in which the user and device are located. The retrieved information is converted into an audio signal using the selected audio output template and output by the device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a compressor, a method of welding a fluid tubing to a compressor housing, and a fluid-transport tubing, particularly applicable to an airtight compressor, which provide for the replacement of the brazing step and the direct welding of the fluid-passage tubing to the compressor housing. The airtight compressor comprises a housing (5) and a fluid-transport tubing (9), the fluid-transport tubing passing through the housing (5) through a passage orifice (10), the fluid-transport tubing (9) comprising weldable coupling means (11), the weidable coupling means (110) being configured from a widening in the diameter of the fluid-transport tubing (9), the widening in the diameter having a dimension larger than the diameter of the passage orifice (10) and being configured along its length, the weldable means (11) being welded directly close to a border (12?) of the passage orifice (10).

Abstract: A gutter shield is disclosed that is for inhibiting debris from entering a gutter while allowing water flow to the gutter. The gutter shield includes a plate member having a top edge for engagement with a roof shingle and having a lower edge for engagement with an outer side of the gutter. The plate member has a series of holes therethrough that enable water to flow through the holes to the gutter therebelow. The gutter shield also includes a cover on the plate member that has open and closed positions, the cover being in the open position to enable access to the gutter for cleaning purposes and being in the closed position to enable water to flow over the cover and a hinge to enable the cover to be moved between open and closed positions thereof.
