Abstract: The present disclosure provides a syntactic structural adhesive comprising an epoxy resin, a low density particulate filler and a hardener that, upon curing, exhibits at least the following well-balanced properties: (i) a density less than 1 g/cm3; (ii) a compression modulus greater than 500 MPa; and (iii) a lap shear strength greater than 750 psi. The syntactic structural adhesive may be used in a variety of applications, such as in automotive applications for bonding and/or sealing metal, plastic and composite parts.

Abstract: The present invention is a modular tank coupled to a self-assembly cabinet for ground level transformers. The modular tank includes two interconnected tanks, a front plate and a base. The first tank is larger than the second one and contains the high tension elements. The second tank contains the low tension elements. The front plate supports the electric contacts for both tanks. The base supports the first tank and allows lifting above the ground. The self-assembly cabinet for ground level transformer has a cover divided into two sections. The first section acts as a cover for the modular tank, while the second section acts as a cover for the cabinet. Both cover sections are joined together by a hinge mechanism, and are assembled by sliding on top of the modular tank by a lateral rail mechanism.

Abstract: A screw-on type closure (12) for a container (10) comprised of an auxiliary compartment (14), accessible only when the closure is in the fully open configuration, and separated from the container by a sealing element (16), such that a second material may be housed in said compartment separate and secure from a first material housed within the container, in a configuration that does not affect the overall dimensional envelope of the closure and container assembly, nor the maximum volumetric capacity of the container itself.

Abstract: An improved trap for a mouse of the type having a baseboard, a U-shaped jaw member that is pivotally mounted on the baseboard for pivotal movement from a cocked position to a sprung position, a bait pedal that is attached to the baseboard, and a trigger mechanism that has a longitudinal axis and which is operatively attached to the bait pedal and when the U-shaped jaw member is in the cocked position thereof the trigger mechanism is operatively connected to the U-shaped jaw member. The improvement includes the trigger mechanism allowing the U-shaped jaw member to achieve the sprung position thereof only when the trigger mechanism is rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof.

When the weather becomes unfavorable or when the situation to protect a luggage item arises, the protective cover is extended from the item and placed over the same. After the cover is positioned over such an item, the user may tighten the perimeter of the cover by pulling on strings that are incorporated within the cover. When the need for the protective cover is no longer needed, the user is able to fold the cover and insert the cover back into the backpack.
