  • Patent number: 10737615
Abstract: The baby carseat reminder system is an alarm and sensor system that attaches to the seat belt buckle. The baby carseat reminder system senses when the belt connector of a seat belt properly attaches to the anchor connector of the seatbelt. The baby carseat reminder system senses when the span of the distance between the seat belt buckle and an alarm fob is greater than a previously determined distance. The baby carseat reminder system generates a visual signal when the belt connector is properly inserted into the anchor connector. The baby carseat reminder system generates an audible and tactile alarm when the span of the distance between the seat belt buckle and the alarm fob is greater than a previously determined distance.

  • Publication number: 20170344706
Abstract: Systems and methods for data compression which facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. The methods comprise performing the following operations by a computing device: generating Normalized Data (“ND”) from Original Data (“OD”) that defines a Normalized Waveform (“NW”) that is unitless and scaled from zero to one; processing ND to extract Micro-Movement Data (“MMD”) defining a Micro-Movement Waveform (“MMW”) comprising a plurality of MMD points; and generating compressed data comprising a stochastic signature of MMW. Each MMD point determined based on a value of a peak of NW and a value representing an average of all data point values between a first valley of NW immediately preceding the peak and a second valley of NW immediately following the peak. The stochastic signature is defined by empirically estimated values of at least one parameter representing a Probability Distribution Function (“PDF”) of a continuous family of PDFs.

  • Publication number: 20160362047
Abstract: This child safety device, Love Steps, could be produced easily using conventional and readily available materials and manufacturing processes. No new technology would be required. The housing for the car seat buckle skirt and the key fob could be molded polycarbonate, polypropylene, or any rigid plastic.

  • Patent number: 6923249
Abstract: A passive thermal control system maintains the operating temperature range of protected equipment within desired limits by controlling the conductive attributes of thermal interfaces and physical relationships within the system so as to achieve a desired thermal balance. In one embodiment, an integrated cell unit (100) includes a solar array (102), a Lithium ion cell (108) and an antenna assembly (114) such as a phased array antenna. In operation, a thermal gradient (116) is defined between the array (102) and the assembly (114) as the assembly (114) radiates heat from the array (102) into space. The operating temperature range of the cell (108) is controlled by appropriate design of the thermal interfaces between the cell (108) and the assembly (114) and/or interfaces within the assembly (114), such as a thermal interface associated with dielectric spacers provided between emitter pairs of the assembly (114).
