  • Patent number: 9247539
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a base station including bidirectional data transmission to a node. The base station has a receiver for receiving a data packet transmitted by the node at a node transmission frequency, the node transmission frequency being derived from a frequency generator of the node. In addition, the base station has a determiner for determining the node transmission frequency based on the data packet received and for determining a deviation of the frequency generator of the node based on a frequency deviation between the determined node transmission frequency and a set node transmission frequency associated to the node. Furthermore, the base station has a transmitter for transmitting a data packet to the node at a base station transmission frequency, the transmitter for transmitting the data packet being configured to set the base station transmission frequency based on the determined deviation of the frequency generator of the node.

  • Patent number: 9184832
Abstract: Concept for transmitting payload data from a transmitter to a receiver via a communication channel within a time interval, wherein channel-coded data packets are generated from the payload data, wherein each of the channel-coded data packets has packet core data corresponding to a packet identification of the respective channel-coded data packet, and wherein the packet core data is coded with a channel code of higher redundancy than the payload data. The channel-coded data packets are sent without any return channel to the receiver, which decodes packet core data of a first received channel-coded data packet of the time interval.

  • Patent number: 9114940
Abstract: A basic idea of the present application is that in case of determining a position of the object on the surface, it is possible to also use transport mechanisms for the transport of the object on the surface which leads to less reproducible transport movements as the regulation may be executed directly on the basis of the observed movement as compared to the desired movement. Embodiments using compressed air, magnetism and/or bending waves are described.

  • Patent number: 8576124
Abstract: An RFID transponder including an antenna, a chip having at least one transmission and reception circuit as well as a memory, a dielectric carrier element which is covered on a first surface with a structured first metallization and which is covered on a second surface disposed opposite the first surface with a second metallization. The first and second metallizations are mutually electrically conductively connected, thereby forming the antenna. The first metallization is structured such that it forms two electric terminals of the antenna arranged on the first surface of the dielectric carrier element. The chip can be or is electrically contacted via these two terminals. An adaptation network is at least partly formed by the structuring of the first metallization and adapting the input impedance of the antenna in a conjugate complex manner to the impedance of the chip.

Abstract: An antenna comprises a first antenna element, which has a first helix, and a second antenna element, which has a second helix. The first and the second antenna elements each have a feed point at an outer end of the corresponding helix and an open end at an inner end of the corresponding helix. A symmetrical helix antenna according to the invention can be integrated in a comparatively simple manner in an existing system, for example in a hearing aid. By integrating the antenna in a plastic housing, the antenna cannot be seen at all from the outside. The antenna is comparatively small in relation to conventional antennas.

  • Patent number: 7043999
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for measuring mechanical stresses of a rotating part (1) in an essentially closed metal housing. The rotating part comprises a sensor (2) which reflects electromagnetic waves and which can be measurably deformed as a result of a mechanical stress exerted on said rotating part (1) The two antennas (A1, A2) receiving the reflected signals of the sensor (2) are arranged in the bearing housing (10) in such a way that they cannot rotate in relation to the sensor and are distanced (?). Said antennas emit receiving signals (a1,a2) which are sent to an electronic evaluation system (20,21) which measures the mechanical stresses of the rotating part (1) on the basis of both receiving signals (a1,a2).
