Abstract: Air spring, in particular for a commercial vehicle, comprising a plunger piston, an air bellows, and a cover, said air bellows being movable between a first compressed position and a second extended position by a compressing or extending movement, wherein the air bellows has an axle-side region with a fixing portion for fixing on the plunger piston, and a body-side region, wherein the fixing portion is fixed between the cover and the plunger piston, and wherein the cover has at least one guiding portion on the cover circumferential edge, said guiding portion extending away from the body-side region and outwards over or beyond the fixing portion and being used as a support for the axle-side region.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air bellows for a pneumatic spring, in particular of a commercial vehicle, the air bellows including an axle-side region and a body-side region, wherein the axle-side region is arranged on a plunger and movable by a compression or extension movement between a first, compressed position and a second, extended position, and further including an interior space adapted to be filled with compressed air via a compressed air opening that is connectable to a compressed air line. The air bellows further comprises a valve connected to the atmosphere for ventilating the interior space, wherein by applying compressed air present in the interior space to the valve the valve is moved to a closed position.

Abstract: An axle of a motor vehicle axle includes a rigid axle body and at least one leaf spring arrangement on each of opposite sides of a longitudinal median plane of the vehicle. The spring arrangement is hinged at a front end thereof to a chassis-stationary bearing axis and is clamped at a position spaced from such axis rigidly to the axle body. One supporting arm projects rearwardly from the axle body and forms the bottom bearing of an air spring on an upper side of which a chassis is braced and having an axle lifting mechanism.

Abstract: The invention relates to a suspension for a vehicle wheel axle having a rigid axle member with at least one upper guide leaf and at least one bottom bearing leaf each on both sides of longitudinal median plane of the vehicle. They form a parabolic guide at their front ends they are articulated at a bearing point of the chassis and between their front and rear ends they are clamped rigidly to the axle member, the rear end of the guide leaf can be moved longitudinally on the chassis a bearing arm of the bearing leaf, projecting rearwards from the the axle member, forms a bottom bearing of an air spring on whose upper end the chassis is supported. To improve the properties of such an axle suspension the bearing point is approximately level to the axle member and the guide leaf extends primarily sloped from the front bottom towards the rear top.
