  • Patent number: 5299803
Abstract: A gaming table is disclosed according to which players in a table type game make their wagers by using chips that are embedded into the table. The table has apertures, with each aperture having an electro-mechanical device incorporated. Mounted on each electro-mechanical device is an adjustable elongated column graphically divided into sections resembling a stack of betting chips that are associated with each player to represent chips belonging to and wagered by each said player. The table also has manually operated switches associated with each player. The switches are electrically connected to corresponding electro-mechanical devices such that when switches are operated certain electro-mechanical devices move their corresponding elongated columns relative to its aperture simulating the increasing or decreasing of the number of chips in stacks associated with each said player. The manually operated switches are capable of causing the readjustment of all said elongated columns.
