  • Patent number: 8063728
Abstract: An inductive component includes a closed magnetic core and a first conductor that runs at least twice through the interior of magnetic core. The first conductor is a solid conductor that includes several U-shaped pre-bent parts that are tightly connected to one another. The U-shaped pre-bent parts may be each be flat conductors. Flat sections of the flat conductors may run in planes oriented transversely to one another.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 11, 2005
Date of Patent: November 22, 2011
    Assignee: EPCOS AG
Inventors: Roman Brunel, Josef Feth, Gerd Riedel

  • Patent number: 7280027
Abstract: An insulating device includes two or more webs extending radially outwards and a plurality of elastic tongues connected to an end of at least one of the two or more webs. At least one of the two or more webs has an elastically deformable spring element. The insulating device is configured to fit into a core hole of a toroidal core.

  • Publication number: 20060192649
Abstract: The invention relates to an insulating part for fitting into the core hole of a toroidal core (2), containing a number n?2 of webs (31, 32, 33) running radially outwards, whereby at least one web (31, 32, 33) has a spring element (4) elastically deformable in the radial direction. Furthermore, the invention relates to a toroidal core (2), a method for the winding of the toroidal core (2) and a toroidal core choke. Tolerances in the core hole diameter can easily be compensated for by the insulating part (1).
