The contactless access reader is arranged to capture the access right of the approaching patron short before he approaches the gate threshold 4. The verification system 13 activates the flaps 7 and 7? when an access right has been approved to swing out of the lane A to indicate to the approaching patron the granted access right.

    Abstract: An impact mill including a base portion on which is disposed a rotor rotatably mounted in a bearing housing, the rotor having an upwardly aligned cylindrical surface portion coaxial with the rotational axis. The impact mill is provided with a mill casing within which is located a conical track assembly which surrounds the rotor to form a conical grinding path. The mill casing is provided with a downwardly aligned cylindrical collar which may be axially adjusted to set a grinding gap between the rotor and the mill casing. The rotor is provided with a plurality of impact knives complementary with a plurality of impact knives disposed on the inside top surface of the mill casing. In addition, the impact mill can be formed of separated conical sections. Finally, power is transmitted to the rotor of the impact mill by a synchronous sprocketed belt, accommodated by a sprocketed drive sheave, wherein the belt is in communication with a power source.

A reader unit is connected to an evaluating unit and controls devices that signal and/or block access. The reader unit has an insertion zone for a ticket wherein the insertion zone is larger than a ticket dimension. A multidirectional laser scanner scans the entire insertion zone in several lines oriented at an oblique angle relative to one another. The device can be used with different ticket formats such as air-travel tickets and check cards.

The filler material is used in the form of a finely-crystallized hydrargillite which is obtained during a precipitation process according to Bayer with a grain diameter of 0.5 to 3 .mu.m, which is suspended and which, without any mechanical working, is transformed directly in a hydro-thermal process at temperatures ranging between 220.degree. C. and 240.degree. C. under turbulent conditions into a boehmite of the general formula AlO.sub.x (OH).sub.3-2x with x-values ranging between 0.8 and 0.99.

    Abstract: A component for cladding apertures in the fuselage of an aircraft is to be of lighter weight and more corrosion resistant as compared with known claddings. The component is manufactured of carbon fibre reinforced curable synthetic resin and comprises a base layer (2) onto which U-profiles (4, 4') and L-profiles (5, 5') are placed in spaced apart interrelationship, which during the manufacture are held in place by a grid (14) comprising angular bridge members. A vacuum foil 7 is applied over this assembly and is adhesively bonded along the edges of the base layer (2') to the supporting surface (1). The space between the vacuum foil (7) and the supporting surface (1) is evacuated and curing proceeds at an elevated temperature and pressure. After complete curing the vacuum foils (7) and the grid (14) are removed.
