  • Patent number: 4451160
Abstract: A watch comprises a push button 3 with an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the watch. It is slidable in a tube 2 which is fixed with respect to the bottom 1 of the casing and which is disposed in the interior of the casing. The push button 3 comprises a stem member 4 which is slideable within the tube 2, and a cap member 5 around the tube 2. A return spring 7 co-operates with the cap member 5 by way of the end which is remote from that which is fixed to the stem member 4, whereby the return spring does not require additional thickness of the casing to accommodate it.

  • Patent number: 4364671
Abstract: The invention provides a very thin electronic watch having a casing with a front wall provided with a glass, a rear wall and a side wall connecting the front and rear walls. In the casing there is a spindle substantially perpendicular to the front and rear walls and mounted pivotally with respect to the casing, a toothed transmission wheel secured to the spindle, a "minutes" disc perpendicularly secured to the spindle and provided with a tooth arrangement on its periphery, and an "hours" disc pivotally mounted on the spindle, substantially parallel to the "minutes" disc and provided with a tooth arrangement on its periphery, the "minutes" and "hours" discs being disposed between the glass and the toothed transmission wheel. The casing further has an electric motor, a supply source, a first gear train engaging the rotor of the electric motor and the "minutes" disc and a second gear train engaging the "hours" disc and the transmission wheel.

  • Patent number: 3999371
Abstract: An automatic winding device for a watch movement includes two frame elements secured to one another to form a unit. The elements support between them a gear train, a pinion, a winding weight integral with the pinion, a lever, a wheel borne by the lever and meshing with the pinion, and a click cooperating with a gear of the gear train. A hairpin strip-spring has one end which acts on the click and another end which acts on the lever. One of the frame elements comprises an elongated recess and the other of the frame elements comprises a notch having edges partially covering the recess. The hairpin strip-spring is inserted in the recess through the notch. The lever and the click are not subjected to the action of the hairpin strip-spring assembly.
