  • Publication number: 20120083321
Abstract: A secondary picking device for a hops picking machine comprises a cone picking device and a tine strip device which interact in such a way that the sections thereof facing each other are moved in a same direction while defining between them a picking range through which the vine parts are passed in order to pick hop cones. The picking range has a curved shape, and at least one combing cylinder is present which is arranged downstream from the picking range in the direction of movement of the vine parts. At least one combing cylinder interacts with the cone picking device and rotates opposite to the direction of movement of the associated section of the cone picking device in order to strip off vine parts.

  • Patent number: 8042674
Abstract: A clutch device is described comprising a first clutch element, a second clutch element that is disposed in a coaxial manner in relation to the first clutch element, a first engagement means, a second engagement provided for engaging with the first engagement in a positively interlocking manner for transmitting a torque between the first clutch element and the second clutch element, and a spring biasing the first engagement element and the second engagement element in a circumferential direction against each other. The spring comprises a leg spring with a ring part and two legs, wherein the ring part is disposed in a substantially coaxial relation to the first and second clutch parts and the legs extend in a radially outward direction.

  • Patent number: 4919643
Abstract: A continually variable cone-pulley, belt-drive transmission includes a primary shaft having a cone-pulley arrangement actuated by a pressure servo, a secondary shaft driven by an endless belt having a cone-pulley, actuated by a second pressure servo. Spring assemblies located in the pressure servo preload compression springs. Each spring assembly includes a compression spring located in spring-receiving rings, a cup-shaped support ring, and a guide ring comprising a peg-shaped spring guide. Preload on the compression springs is released during the first complete movement of the cone-pulley assembly by loading a locking and unlocking pin.

  • Patent number: 4914984
Abstract: A control valve arrangement for a continually variable transmission includes a first valve for regulating pressure in a primary servo for the gear ratio of the transmission and a second valve for regulating pressure in a secondary servo controlling tension of the drivebelt. These valves are acted upon by a throttle shaft as a function of output torque of the engine. A modulating device varies pressure in the secondary servo as a function of the gear ratio and of engine torque. The modulating device comprises a lever having one end acted upon by a cam disk as a function of the engine torque and second end acted upon by a valve element of the second regulating valve. The second lever is extended radially outward from a pivot. A sensor arm acts as a function of the gear ratio on one end of the second lever, whose other end is rotatably pinned to the first lever.
