  • Patent number: 4561354
Abstract: A screen printing apparatus utilizes a number of screen printing heads disposed along a transport path for the fabric; each of the heads moves upwardly on a respective carrier so as to be tiltable by a pneumatic cylinder with respect to the carrier which is vertically displaceable in common with the other carriers by the displacement of a common element connecting wedges together. The carriers each have extensions provided with rollers which ride upon ramp surfaces of the respective wedges. The vertical displacement compensates for changes in diameter of the screen printing patterns and for changes in thicknesses of the webs processed.

  • Patent number: 4542692
Abstract: A screen printing installation of the type in which a magnetic member below to be printed attracts an ink applying element against a pattern and a fabric on a support, in which the support is tensioned between a pair of members on an inner frame completely separate from an outer frame in which the upper pattern carrying the carriage is guided. The lower carriage carrying the magnetic member and the upper carriage can be coupled for joint movement through the gaps between the support surface and the longitudinal elements of the outer frame.

  • Patent number: 4524688
Abstract: An apparatus for printing a pattern of a flat horizontal screen on an underlying substrate comprises a wiper assembly mounted on a carriage above the screen and an electromagnet beneath the screen reciprocable along the latter jointly with the carriage. A cradle limitedly pivotable on the carriage about a horizontal axis extends across the screen and supports, via adjustable holders, a working wiper and a distributing wiper on opposite sides of its pivotal axis. The working wiper, which may be a blade or a roller, directly overlies the electromagnet and is magnetizable and/or accompanied by a magnetizable mass whereby energization of the electromagnet attracts the side of the cradle bearing that wiper to press it against the screen for forcing dyestuff therethrough onto the substrate, this side trailing during a printing stroke.
