  • Publication number: 20070029424
Abstract: In plates or plate segments, e.g. in dispersing devices, circular elevations (9) and depressions (10) are provided in an arc-shaped arrangement. At least some of the elevations (9) form a continuous circular arc. This not only results in gentler fiber treatment due to the shearing forces being applied gently by means of friction, but also in the entire pulp suspension being dispersed, beaten/refined or deflaked more effectively.
