Abstract: A bolt adjustment device having a body, a clamping mechanism and an attachment point. The body extends in a longitudinal direction from a first end to a second end, the body having a cavity extending into the body in the longitudinal direction from the first end. The cavity can accommodate a thread during use of the bolt adjustment device. A step in the cavity is configured and arranged to engage with a nut when in use. A torque imparted on the attachment point will impart a torque to the bolt adjustment device. • Publication number: 20060101892
Abstract: The invention concerns a multistage press, at which within the machine-mounted clamping plate (1), an insert (3) is arranged which can alternatingly be moved in the direction towards the press plunger (2) and away from it. The insert (3) is moved up and down by a cam drive actuated by the press main drive with lifting and lowering cams (5), whose cam tracks (8a, 8b) are traced by lifting rollers (6) and lowering rollers (7) under compressive prestress. Such a multistage press can be operated with a high number of strokes per minute and has, at the same time, an excellent precision of the stroke movement.

  • Patent number: 5970857
Abstract: In a baking oven comprising at least one hearth, a baking conveyor belt, which is guided over a deflection roller, is allocated to each hearth. The deflection roller is extended out of the baking oven through openings where it is lodged for displacement in the direction of the oven. A sealing arrangement is provided for this opening to be sealed, comprising a base plate and a sealing disk resting tightly thereon. The sealing disk is pivotally supported on the deflection roller and simultaneously lodged in a guiding groove in the base plate by means of a guide pin. The edge of the sealing disk is shaped such that on the one hand it covers the opening in all the positions of displacement and on the other hand is displaced in the direction of displacement only by a length which is considerably shorter than the length of displacement of the deflection roller.

  • Patent number: 5002176
Abstract: Suspension transport systems which operate automatically or predominantly automatically and which are used for the transport of spools make use of whole trains on which a plurality of spools is arranged. This, however, means that, e.g., in a ring spinning frame, the whole train will have to be exchanged when the first spool is empty. In order to avoid the resultant waste and in order to provide increased flexibility in the motion of the spools used in such a system of automatized or largely automatized operation, the present suspension transport system uses spools equipped with a travelling device of their own, the travelling device remaining on the spool when the spool is inserted into a processing machine. It is thus possible to handle each spool individually, as well as in a train. The suspension transport system is particlarly suitable for transverse insertion into a ring spinning frame.

  • Patent number: 4930425
Abstract: A suspension conveyor wherein the driving force acts on casters of a carriage, comprises a drive-transmitting assembly having a resiliently deformable drag material with its rear side supported by a backup support. During drive-transmitting operation, the drag material is compressed between the carriage and the drive-transmitting member resulting in the exertion of a perpendicularly oriented force.

  • Patent number: 4881468
Abstract: Described in a suspension conveyor system suitable for the use of conveyance units having two travelling rollers interconnected by an open yoke. The suspension conveyor system is universally applicable and capable of optimum adaptation to operating and space conditions in a given plant. To this purpose the system comprises changeover means selectively operable to tilt a conveyance unit to a left or right laterally suspended position or a center-suspended position to thereby permit for instance the radii of curved rail sections to be considerably shortened and particularly achieve a less complicated construction of required switches. In a preferred embodiment the switch is formed as an integral shaped member, so that the continuity of the rail circuit has not to be interrupted for guiding a conveyance unit onto selected branch rails.

  • Patent number: 4779537
Abstract: The invention relates to a track rail for a suspension conveyor system particularly for the convenience of materials in the textile industry, having a cross-sectional configuration comprising a pair of roof-shaped converging legs each formed with a roller track surface for one of a pair of track rollers on its upper side, and connected to a carrier rail by an upper carrier web extending in the symmetry plane, said track rollers of said track roller pair defining a derail gap and being mounted in a common yoke with their axes in oblique alignment relative to one another, permitting them to be detached from said track rail by lifting said yoke and tilting it transversely of said track rail. Known track rails are formed as a welded construction composed of continuous steel sections and web sections as the carrier web. They are heavy and permit only the use of center-suspension track roller pairs to travel thereon.

  • Patent number: 4777342
Abstract: In the context of a plasma cutting torch of the type comprising a torch nozzle whose two electrode holders, which are adapted to be connected with different poles of a power supply and are coaxially arranged to form a flow path for gas for operation of the torch, an insulating ring, preferably made of ceramic material, is provided to locate the electrode holders in the axial and radial directions. The invention seeks to devise such an arrangement, using simple and low-price means, so that relative motion between the electrode holders and the electrodes is efficiently precluded and in order to achieve this, each of the two electrode holders is provided with ring holding members with axial gripping surfaces which are able to be moved towards each other axially to hold the ring between them, one of the electrode holders being then placed within the ring and the other being placed around it.
