  • Publication number: 20020189387
Abstract: The invention concerns an apparatus for torque transmission and axial securing of a first (24) and a second (26) torque conducting component. The apparatus has the form of a ring shaped component (20), which possesses along its circumference projections (22) which are spaced from one another and which are insertable in such a manner in the spaces between projections (28) of the second component (26) which lies on a surface (30) of the first component (24), that the sides of the projections (22) which face the surface (30) of the first component (24) can be affixed to the first component (24).

  • Patent number: 6481556
Abstract: Parking lock which on the basis of an actuating signal triggered by the driver via an actuating device is engaged and disengaged by the fact that a piston (6) causes a detent disc (2) to rotate in such a way that, via a connection (19), a lock (17) is actuated which engages or disengages the parking lock. When engaged, the parking lock can be unlocked via a manual actuating device (13) causing an emergency release disc (3) to rotate by the fact that a bolt (4) likewise causes the detent disc (2) to rotate and then engages a detent unit (14) which maintains the parking lock in unlocked state. By repeated application of a hydraulic force to the actuating device (7) the detent unit (14) can be automatically disengaged by the detent disc (2) being caused to rotate.

  • Patent number: 6006877
Abstract: In hydraulic clutches (1) generating high levels of heat, the problem is to ensure a rapid and even heat dissipation over the entire friction surface and an oil flow rate which is independent of the wear of the hydraulic clutch (1) and largely independent of the actuating pressure. The problem is solved as follows: at least one restrictor (1/6) is located in and/or between the lining supports or discs (1/5) of the hydraulic clutch (1) and acts independently of the wear and machining inaccuracy of the lining grooves (1/7, 1/8) of the lining supports (1/3, 1/4). This ensures an optimal through-flow and an oil flow rate that is independent of wear. The independence of wear results from the fact that the flow resistance is determined solely by the through-apertures (1/6) in the lining support (1/5), the flow cross section of the grooves (1/7, 1/8) being several times greater than that of the through-apertures (1/6).

  • Patent number: 5887690
Abstract: The proposal is for a clutch arrangement consisting of at least one first clutch (4) and at least one second clutch (5). The first clutch (4) is arranged radially around the second clutch (5). Both clutches have balancing chambers (19, 20).

  • Patent number: 5338010
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydropneumatic vehicle suspension, especially for vehicles in which high axle-load differences occur. To adapt the hydropneumatic suspension to high axle-load differences, the hydropneumatic actuators (7, 8) are designed as double-acting hydraulic cylinders of which the head spaces (5, 6) are connected with a first reservoir (12) and the cylinder spaces (22, 23), on the piston-rod side, are connected with a reservoir (24). The pressure in the second reservoir (24) is controlled by a control valve (18) as a function of the pressure in the first reservoir (12). The solution according to the invention is specially suited for use in agricultural vehicles.

  • Patent number: 5236061
Abstract: In an arrangement of a steerable rigid axle on a chassis of a tractor of modular construction, the rigid axle is spring-mounted with respect to the tractor chassis and is supported on its rear side via a propeller shaft tube swingable in a support bearing block on the side of the chassis, the arrangement includes an oil sump provided with a tunnel-like recess a support bearing block partially made in one piece with the oil sump.

  • Patent number: 5161636
Abstract: In an all-wheel driven field tractor whose front-axle differential (6) and rear-axle differential (15) are permanently driven in arable land by output shafts (2 and 3) of a gear change (1) so that a rigid connection exists between front and rear axles, the higher speeds of the front axle (7) appearing when cornering must be compensated. Besides, a mechanism for compensating the axle speeds must be adapted to be integrated in the field tractor without substantial constructural changes. For this purposse there is situated between the crown gear (12) and the differential cage (14) of the rear-axle differential (15) a clutch (16) designed as a control slip clutch having its slip status regulated according to the parameters of the track radius to be executed and/or the traction needed.

  • Patent number: 5129474
Abstract: In a steerable wheel axle for a motor vehicle with a rigid axle body which includes a hydrostatic or servo-assisted steering device that is incorporated in the axle body, the steering cylinder is arranged coaxially with the longitudinal median axis of the axle body and in driving connection with a swivelling lever radially projecting from axle body and linked to steering tie rods.
