  • Publication number: 20220363100
Abstract: Disclosed is a chassis component (1, 38) having a measuring device (9) for determining a relative position of two chassis components connected movably with one another. For example, a first chassis component is a joint (2) with at least one rotation axis (8) and a second chassis component is a structural component (3), the structural component (3) being mounted by means of the joint (2) so that it can pivot around the rotation axis (8) of the joint (2). The measuring device (9) has a signal emitter (13) and a sensor device (10, 28) with a signal receiver (21), where the sensor device (10, 28) is arranged on the structural component (3) and the signal emitter (13) is arranged on the joint (2). To improve an arrangement of the sensor device (10, 28) on the structural component (3), the sensor device (10, 28) extends through a through-opening (11).

  • Publication number: 20220170504
Abstract: A ball joint for a chassis of a vehicle. The ball joint has an inner joint portion (2) and a slide bearing (7). The inner joint portion (2) is movably fitted in the slide bearing (7). The ball joint further has a closure element (5) for closing a joint housing. The slide bearing (7) and the closure element (5) are connected to one another. To reduce the number of components and/or the number of assembly steps, the ball joint (1) is characterized in that the slide bearing (7), for the inner joint portion (2), is made as a single, one-piece plastic component (6).

  • Patent number: 10632808
Abstract: A trailing arm device (1) of a drivable torsion beam axle (2) is described. The trailing arm device (1) has a housing (5) in which a drive-train (8) can be arranged and is connected to a trailing arm (4). The housing (5), as fitted into position within a vehicle, has a sidewall (11) formed integrally with a central housing region (9) on a side facing toward a wheel. The sidewall delimits a housing interior space (10) that accommodates, at least partially, the drive-train (8). On the side facing away from the wheel, the housing interior space (10) is delimited by at least one cover element (14) that can be detachably connected to the central housing region (9).
