  • Patent number: 7607517
Abstract: A door coupler provided with coupling elements actuated by means of a linkage so as to engage a counter element provided on the landing door and a locking hook that has a closed position and a released position. The release of the locking hook from the closed position to the released position is allowed when the coupling element meets the counter element. The locking hook and the coupling elements are disposed at a distance from each other.

  • Publication number: 20080163854
Abstract: Vegetable oil fuel system for diesel engines consisting of a diesel and vegetable oil system. When started cold, the engine 20 is supplied with diesel and when the engine reaches a certain temperature, which depends on the engine design, at this point the fuel supply will switch to vegetable oil. During normal operating conditions, the engine 20 runs on vegetable oil, which is heated by a heat exchanger 16 which is supplied by engine cooling water. In addition, the vegetable oil will be electrically heated when passing through the filter 15 during cold start conditions.

  • Patent number: 6189658
Abstract: The landing door of an elevator is opened by the opening movement of the car door and closed by the closing movement of the car door by using a door coupler (20) attached to the car door. The door coupler has coupling elements (52,53) designed to engage a counterpart (6) attached to the landing door. The door coupler (20) is moved in the direction of the car door movement to align it with the counter element (6). After the door coupler (20) has been aligned, its motion relative to the car door is prevented by a blocking device (28).

  • Patent number: 6108865
Abstract: The invention relates to a portable handheld blower/vacuum apparatus having a housing and a blower scroll formed in the housing. An impeller is provided in the blower scroll. Air is supplied to the blower scroll via an air inlet and air is directed away from the blower scroll via an air outlet. An air-conducting connecting tube is mounted on the air outlet via a housing-fixed connecting stub. A bayonet connection is provided in the overlap region between the connecting tube and the connecting stub. The bayonet connection includes a guide path lying in the overlap region. The guide path includes an axial segment and a peripheral segment connected thereto in which a radial cam of the other part engages. The cam is secured form tight by a latch connection in the peripheral segment of the guide path to ensure a reliable, mechanically loadable attachment of the connecting tube in the connecting stub.

  • Patent number: 5690189
Abstract: An apparatus for locking the door of an elevator car includes a lock (12) that locks the car door, a guide surface (9) in the elevator shaft at each landing and a linkage (6) operating the lock (12). The linkage includes an operating lever (17) which, when at a landing, presses against the guide surface (9) via a roller. The lever is pivotally attached to the linkage (6) by a movable pivot (20). When the door is reaching the closed position, a coupling element (2) transmits motion of the door to the linkage (6) to operate the lock (12) using the driving power of the door actuating mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5678660
Abstract: In the overhead supporting beam of an elevator door, the roller races (4,5) for the rollers of the door panels are formed from one piece with the overhead supporting beam (1). The door operating mechanism (11) with the door operating motor (15) is fitted to form a single unit with the overhead supporting beam (1) of the door.

  • Patent number: 5351403
Abstract: A protective shield for a free-cutting tool having a rotatable cutting head with a cutting thread that extends radially upon rotation of the cutting head and thus defines a cutting plane, has a support section for fixedly connecting the shield to the tool above the cutting plane. A circumferential wall is connected to the support section and extends about a portion of the circumference of the cutting plane. The circumferential wall extends axially from the support section to at least the cutting plane and has axially extending lateral edges arranged perpendicular to a direction of rotation of the cutting head. The lateral edges each have a round transition into a bottom edge of the circumferential wall. A crosscutting blade for cutting to length the cutting thread is connected to the inside of the circumferential wall at its leading portion in the direction of rotation. The crosscutting blade extends over the axial height of the circumferential wall.

  • Patent number: 4866846
Abstract: The cutterhead includes a cutting filament wound on a spool and this cutting filament is adjusted with respect to its effective cutting length in dependence upon the rotational speed of the cutterhead. The switching point for the automatic feed must be precisely matched to the drive speed in order that the desired effective cutting length is maintained. In order to assure the desired effective cutting length, a spring is provided which is adjustable with respect to its biasing force by means of an easily accessible adjusting member. This biasing force is matched to the speed-dependent centrifugal force such that the spool is released at a predetermined speed of the cutterhead.
