  • Patent number: 6867516
Abstract: A drive device includes an electric drive motor, a housing with a housing cover, at least one shaft that is powered by the drive motor and compensating element(s) for compensating the axial play of the shaft. The compensating elements include at least one axially elastic, deformable elastomer element having at least one contact surface. The contact surface(s) has a PTFE, PET or corresponding coating.

  • Patent number: 6713917
Abstract: A drive device includes an electric drive motor, a housing, at least one shaft which is driven by the drive motor, and a compensating member for compensating the axial clearance of the shaft. A spring ring disk, which can be expanded radially counter to an elastic force and has two stopping surfaces radially extending towards each other on the axis of the shaft in the form of a wedge, is arranged on the shaft as the compensating member. The shaft has a ring-shaped projection which matches one of stopping surfaces and the housing has an annular collar which matches the other stopping surface. The spring ring disc is pre-tensed and arranged in between the projection and the annular collar.

  • Publication number: 20040012280
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive device (31) comprising an electric drive motor (2), a housing with preferably a housing cover (39), at least one shaft (36) that is powered by the drive motor and compensating means for compensating the axial play of the shaft. Said compensating means contain at least one axially elastic, deformable elastomer element (53) comprising at least one contact surface. The invention is characterized in that the contact surface(s) (53) has/have a PTFE, PET or corresponding coating.

  • Publication number: 20020163267
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive device (1) comprising an electric drive motor (2), a housing (4), at least one shaft (8) which is driven by the drive motor and means for compensating the axial clearance of said shaft. The invention is characterized in that a spring ring disk (19), which can be expanded radially counter to an elastic force and has two stopping surfaces radially extending towards each other on the axis of the shaft in the form of a wedge, is arranged on the shaft as said compensating means. The invention is also characterized in that shaft has a ring-shaped projection (22) which matches one of stopping surfaces and the housing has an annular collar (23) which matches the other stopping surface. The spring ring disc (19) is pre-tense and arranged in between the projection (22) and the annular collar (23).

  • Patent number: 5566577
Abstract: For changing the wiping angle in a driving mechanism of a windshield wiper for an automotive vehicle or for enabling varying wiping angles with the same parts both in a driving mechanism having a predetermined parking position and in a driving mechanism having no predetermined parking position, an actuated wheel of the gear between the driving motor and the wiper shaft includes at least two selectively used hinge points for the crank drive or at least one hinge point displaceable over the axis of rotation in the radial direction of the wheel, or a combination thereof.
