  • Patent number: 5238418
Abstract: A multiterminal electric coupling device having a longitudinally-extending plug element including a plug housing with grooves on one end thereof and plug contacts contained within the plug housing. A longitudinally-extending socket element is provided and includes a socket housing with longitudinally-extending grooves and socket contacts contained within the socket housing. A hook-pin hinge is provided at one end of the housings for flexibly connecting the housings together. A longitudinally-extending slider is provided and has an interior and exterior sides and longitudinally-extending interior facing strips. The strips are locatable in the socket housing grooves at an end remote from the hook-pin hinge to allow for guided movement of the slider in the longitudinal direction with respect to the socket element.

  • Patent number: 5032087
Abstract: In an electrical coupling device with one contact strip firmly secured, for example, to the frame of the unit, and with one socket strip lodged in a housing, and with means for preventing incorrect coupling, in order to achieve easy and safe connection, the socket strip housing is fitted to the frame by a pivot pin arranged at one end of the housing and has a slide groove in at least one lateral longitudinal wall. By displacing in the slide groove a sliding block carried by means of a lever hinged to the frame, the socket strip housing can be pivoted and locked in order to permit coupling of the strip contacts and socket contacts to the contact strip.

  • Patent number: 4952176
Abstract: An electric coupling device comprises a test contact strip fastened to an appliance frame, a housing which can be mounted in a space in the appliance frame by means of two pivot pins interspaced along the same axis and which houses a socket terminal strip, levers hinged to the appliance frame and which can be inserted with sliding block cranks in slotted grooves in the housing for swivelling the housing to the appliance frame, and coding means arranged on the appliance frame and housing. To ensure simple, reliable and variable coding, between the pivot pins (11) the socket terminal strip housing (3) has a row of previously made slots (30) with notched contours and open front ends in the direction of plugging, and between the pivot pins (12) the appliance frame (1) has at least one coding pin (31) which can be interchangeably and firmly inserted in openings in the appliance frame and introduced into slots (30) in the socket terminal strip housing (30).
