  • Patent number: 5405086
Abstract: In order to reduce the storage space required for accessories, such as washing gun (10), spray lance (18), pressure hose and electric cable, in a high-pressure cleaner (1), insertion receptacles (16, 17) are arranged in the housing (2) for plugging in the washing gun (10) and spray lance (18), so that the accessories are safely stored and quickly accessible. In addition, the pressure hose is clamped and held by its own elasticity between two opposing hose hooks. A solution is also proposed for safely retaining and at the same time for quickly unwinding and rewinding the cable roll, in that a cable hook (13) is movable with respect to a second stationary cable hook (14).

  • Patent number: 4989786
Abstract: A rotatable nozzle comprising a housing having arranged therein a rotor rotatable about a longitudinal axis which is inclined in respect of a central axis of the housing. The rotor is peripherally provided with a blade wheel the blades of which being positioned in the flow path of an inlet beam of pressurized liquid for rotating the rotor and orbiting it around the central axis.

  • Patent number: 4810169
Abstract: A pump unit is provided with a housing enclosing a motor and a pump block flanged thereto. The housing closely follows the contours of the motor and the pump block and is provided with external projections for accommodating accessories for use with the pump unit. A handle is integrally formed at an upward projection of the housing, the upward projection serving as an enclosure for a capacitor connected to the motor.

  • Patent number: 4747544
Abstract: The spray device comprises a central support and supply element bearing a rotational body for rotation about a central axis. At least one nozzle element is attached at the front surface of the rotational body at the outlet side of the spray device. The axis of the nozzle element is offset both to the central axis and to the direction of rotation of the rotational body. The rotational body is closely surrounded by a jacket.

  • Patent number: 4651929
Abstract: A holding and control arrangement for spraying devices used with high-pressure washing equipment includes water feed and discharge ducts communicating through a valve controlled by a hand lever. Inlet and discharge ends of the respective ducts terminate in upper and lower casing portions interconnected by a protective bar. Each casing portion respectively includes feeder and discharge connection fittings formed with the casings to prevent the fittings from turning. The fittings have similar shapes to enable manipulation by a standard tool, such as a monkey wrench. An outer housing handle including guide flanges capable of interfitting with guide channels formed in the casings substantially covers the water duct and valve to prevent undesired operator contact with these hot portions. An additional covering extends around a portion of the water duct to further prevent operator contact with the hot duct.

  • Patent number: 4636146
Abstract: An axial plunger pump for high pressure purposes using three plungers in a star like arrangement around an axis of a wobble plate. Each plunger has associated therewith a pumping unit and all pumping units are located in a common pumping unit block and each of the pumping units comprising a pump chamber having inlet and outlet valves connected to a common inlet duct and outlet duct respectively. Plunger cylinders of at least one of the plungers are connected to pump chamber at a position between the inlet valve and the outlet valve while the plunger cylinder of at least another plunger is connected to the associated pump chamber at a position below the inlet valve.

  • Patent number: 4435127
Abstract: An apparatus having latching effect for limiting pressure in liquid feeding systems has a valve means inserted in the feeding path of a pump supplied liquid. The valve means includes a shunt valve opened upon excessive output pressure; the shunt output of the shunt valve is connected to a feed-back tube. There is further provided a back-stroke valve in the main feeding path of the liquid. A first pressure switch has the output pressure applied thereto while to a second pressure switch the input pressure at the shunt valve is applied. The two pressure switches are inserted into the switch-on circuit of the pump in such a manner that the pump is switched-on in the presence of a low output pressure and switched-off in the presence of an excessive output pressure.

  • Patent number: 4202495
Abstract: A multiple nozzle head for use on jet pipes or guns particularly adapted for cleaning equipment. A contactless change-over device is provided on the end of the jet pipe, which change-over device has a sealing element movable therein. The change-over device has an inlet port and at least two outlet ports with the sealing element being movable between the outlet ports. By orienting the jet pipe in a specific position, with the liquid turned off, the sealing element is gravitationally moved to a desired location so that when the liquid supply is turned on again, the sealing element will be held in the adjusted position by the liquid pressure.
