  • Patent number: 4936457
Abstract: For the transportation-storage and assembly stacking of electric hotplates (2), a stacking air has pallet plates (10) to be arranged in superimposed manner in stacking layers and which can be directly stacked in one another for storage and which are in the form of deep drawn plastic plate parts with grid-distributed flat shells (19), which in each case projecting beyond the open side with the cooking surface (4) receive in centering manner the lower part of an electric hotplate (2) and are supported with respect to the cooking surfaces of the adjacent stacking layer by means of a slide preventing means (31), but are otherwise contact-free. Thus, on a support pallet and protected by a packing sleeve it is possible to stack a very large number of hotplates (2) in a stable manner, with the same orientation and therefore having good assembly access.

  • Patent number: 4808797
Abstract: A hotplate (11) has a flat, plate-like bushing (22) for connecting leads (19). The bushing (22) is directly fitted in a cover plate (20) of the hotplate (11) by means of retaining clips (34). The connecting leads (19) are threaded through the bushing, which bushing is retained in the cover plate (20). The cover plate (20), with bushing affixed is then fixed to the hotplate body. The bushing (22) is not supported on the hotplate underside (40), but is wholly supported in the cover plate (20), facilitating assembly by automated equipment.

  • Patent number: 4699269
Abstract: A stacker has support units with in each case a plurality of support members for in each case two superimposed hotplates distributed over the hotplate circumference and connected by connecting elements so as to be slightly elastically movable relative to one another. The hotplates engage in centered manner in the support units, in such a way that the central axes of the two hotplates engaging in a support unit are mutually displaced at least by the diameter of the fixing bolts projecting over the undersides of the hotplates. For the arrangement under in each case one double layer of hotplates spaced by support units, intermediate layers are provided having on their upper surfaces centering cavities for the engagement of the hotplates and on their bottom surfaces having protective layers for the careful placing on the in each case underlying hotplates.
