  • Patent number: 9808749
Abstract: A device for the suction filtration of fluids, such as urea solutions for exhaust gas after-treatment systems, has a tank (2) storing the fluid, and a filter element (34) arranged in the tank and provided with a filter medium (32) separating the tank contents from a clean-side inner filter cavity (20). The filter cavity extends from the bottom (10) of the tank (2) to a filling level height (28) and corresponds to a part of the filling volume of the tank (2). On the filter cavity (20), a suction connection (22) discharges the cleaned fluid by a suction pressure corresponding to a system operating pressure. The filter element (34) is provided with a filter medium (32), which is air-impermeable if suction pressures are within the range of a low system operating pressure.

  • Patent number: 6820344
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for measuring across several axes of an object, whereby the object to be measured can be fixed to a measuring table. According to the invention, base strips are provided which are configured laterally as a half-dovetail profile and can be fixed on the measuring plane. Attachment strips, having a groove, are provided to complement the base strips and have a toothed profile on one side. Fastening screws are associated to the groove. The base strips and attachment strips are sized and arranged with respect to the measuring table in such a way that the plane of the measuring table acts as a reference plane for the underside of the attachment strips. A clamping piece, which fixes the object, is also provided. The invention is suitable for both contactless optical measuring and tactile measuring. One of the advantages of the invention is that objects to be measured can be securely and rapidly fixed to the measuring table, even if the latter is mobile.

  • Patent number: 5983487
Abstract: An apparatus for expanding an existing repair sleeve in a steam generator to permit a new repair sleeve to be installed. The apparatus includes a variable cross-section elongated cylindrical capsule adapted to be positioned within the existing repair sleeve and an explosive charge inside the capsule whereby detonation of the charge expands the existing repair sleeve to permit the new repair sleeve to be installed. The variable cross-section of the capsule permits the explosive force to be "tuned" so that the existing tube expands evenly along its entire length, including the hard to expand ends of the existing sleeve, without overexpanding the tube. In the preferred embodiment, the apparatus includes a conduit attached to one end of the capsule and at least one sleeve position indicator associated with the conduit. The sleeve position indicator associated with the conduit may be a predetermined index mark on the outer surface of the conduit, a hard stop located between the conduit and the capsule or both.

  • Patent number: 5476313
Abstract: The invention is related to an electromagnetic valve including a magnet armature enclosed by a valve dome. The armature performs a stroke movement depending on a magnet coil being energized by the supply of electric current to magnetize a magnet core. A valve needle is slidably disposed in the magnetic armature and is partly encircled by the magnet core. The valve needle interacts with a valve seat which is fixed within a valve housing. A non-ferro magnetic anti-stick disc is disposed between the magnet core and the magnet armature.

  • Patent number: 5333946
Abstract: The valve sleeve (3) of an electromagnetic valve is secured to a housing by a friction grip, and also a formed interlock using a bushing (1) inserted in a housing bore of a valve housing (2). To enhance the holding force effective on contact faces between valve housing (2), valve sleeve (3) and bushing (1), the friction grip is supplemented by a formed interlock therebetween, with interfit corrugations or a conical-cylindrical combined shape, effective between the contacting faces, to better resist thrust forces exerted by pressure within the sleeve.
