  • Patent number: 7877158
Abstract: The method was tackled with picking line for generating strip steel for the automobile industry. The initial conditions to which the tandem-type mill coupled with picking line executed using the installation is exposed. The installation receives an input in the form of human resources, energy, media, raw materials, semifinished product, etc., which is converted by the installation into output. Since the plant is a hot rolling mill, the output is in the form of hot rolled strips. The different components of the input can be assigned to the factor markets that are relevant to the real installation. The different components of the output can further be assigned to the product markets that are relevant to the real installation.

  • Publication number: 20090326685
Abstract: Mobile programmable control device which functionally combines within itself the traditional tasks of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and an active RFID transponder (tag), or, as the case may be, which integrates a PLC and an active RFID transponder in hardware and software terms. The application program for the control device, i.e. including PLC and RFID tag, can be produced using a programming environment conforming to IEC 61131. For that purpose the microcontroller of the RFID tag requires a corresponding runtime environment. The application programs in the control device can thus be executed cyclically and in synchronism with the PLC. By virtue of its small and compact design the control device can be physically attached to mobile objects of a technological process for the purpose of the latter's automation, control or tracking/documentation. Mobile objects also represent process objects in the technological process both physically and in information technology terms.

  • Patent number: 6983267
Abstract: A system (1, 2) and an associated method for a dynamic management of information data. The information data are in the form of information sources I of a virtual device K, which includes a plurality of virtual subcomponents T1 . . . Tn. The virtual device K represents a real device (20), for instance an industrial facility. A comprehensive overview of the entire system as well as specific views of the subcomponents of the device are achieved in that the virtual subcomponents are embedded as programs and/or data in a networking frame structure. Therein, the virtual subcomponents correspond to technological structures of the real device (20). The system has a data processing device (2) to manage the information data I associated with the virtual device K and to control access to the information data I. Local and/or global addresses are assigned to the virtual device K and its virtual subcomponents T1 . . . Tn.
