  • Patent number: 10774758
Abstract: A method for producing an output data stream includes picking up and digitalizing a combustion chamber signal to a combustion chamber signal data stream and, simultaneously therewith, picking up and digitalizing a crankshaft angle signal to a crankshaft signal data stream. The combustion chamber signal data stream is split or duplicated into a first and a second combustion chamber signal data flow. The first combustion chamber signal data flow is filtered to a first filtered combustion chamber signal data stream and then transformed to a first transformed combustion chamber signal data stream. The second combustion chamber signal data flow is transformed to a second transformed combustion chamber signal data stream. The first and second transformed combustion chamber signal data streams are combined to an output data stream which comprises the first and second transformed combustion chamber signal data streams in a respective first and second crankshaft angle range.

  • Patent number: 8170777
Abstract: To reduce the complexity of an indicating system 6 on an internal combustion engine for determining a parameter, the invention provides that on the basis of the measured variable a computing unit 8 for the indicating system 6 computes crank angle information, and on the basis of the crank angle information thus computed and the measured variable determines an engine parameter.

  • Publication number: 20070213958
Abstract: A measuring arrangement including a sensor (1), an interpretation unit (3) connected to said sensor via a detachable connection cable (2), and a memory module (4) having sensor-relevant data whereby the memory module is assigned to the sensor and may be interrogated by the interpretation unit to simplify deference of the sensor-relevant data in the interpretation unit (3) following a possible exchange of sensors. The memory module (4) is arranged outside of the sensor (1) so that the arrangement can also be employed in a rough environment whereby there is provided on the sensor (1) itself an identification unit (5) having a sensor identification ability that may be correlated with the memory module (4).

  • Publication number: 20070192043
Abstract: A method for providing a high-resolution angle mark signal comprises the detection of a low-resolution angle mark signal and of a revolution trigger. Based on the low-resolution angle marks, angle marks are generated, subsequently, of a frequency that is increased by a multiplication factor, which can be preset.
