  • Patent number: 6819262
Abstract: In an indication device for a motor vehicle used by a disabled person, in particular a person in a wheelchair, with the indication device including an illuminated sign which displays information that for parking of vehicles, sufficient space should be maintained to the entry door of the motor vehicle, at least one distance sensor or movement detector is fitted to the motor vehicle, such that vehicles which are parking too near are registered by distance measuring, and subsequently, illumination of the sign and an acoustic signal transmitter are activated for a specified period of time.

  • Patent number: 5860626
Abstract: The invention relates to a surface of a body exposed to circumfluent fluid with elevations protruding from the base surface. In order to design the surface of a body exposed to circumfluent fluid with elevations protruding from the base service with an even more favorable flow, it is provided that when the surface is viewed from the top the elevations are bordered in each case by two boundary lines of which the one boundary line is longer and possesses a greater curvature than the other boundary line so that the cross-section area of an airfoil is produced.

  • Patent number: 5277738
Abstract: A process and a device are described for one- or two-sided stripping of protective films from board-shaped objects, whereby the protective film is first raised at the leading edge of the circuit board and guided to a takeup reel via a transport mechanism. To assure that the stripping moment of the protective films on the circuit boards is as slight as possible, provision is made that the edge of the protective film is first scratched with extensible hollow needles and raised with a blast of air and that, in the course of the continuing advance of the circuit board, the protective film is lifted onto plate-shaped guide blades and transported away.

  • Patent number: 5269647
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rotor driven by wind power with a vertical rotating axis and radial arms distributed at uniform angular intervals over its periphery which bear bodies with an aerodynamic profile such that one side of the profile exhibits a lower air resistance with a current at right angles than with a current from the opposite side.Known vertical rotors should be of simple construction and should be capable of being manufactured at low cost. At the same time their efficiency should be high enough for them to be used to generate wind power economically. To this end, the rotor of the generic type is improved such that the rotor arms consist of one or a plurality of loops in vertical planes with an aerodynamic profile, where the profile shape is maintained essentially uniform over the entire length of the loop.

  • Patent number: 4255683
Abstract: A salient pole includes a flat coil made up of a multilayer winding of round wire. The wire includes an adhesive layer which is cured after winding to consolidate the winding. The winding is within a U-shaped channel which is impregnated with resin to fill any gaps. The flat coil fits over a pole core and is fixed thereto by means of spacers which axially space the coil from the pole core and radially space the coil from the machine casing.
