  • Patent number: 10070806
Abstract: Position sensor having a holder, a force measuring device permanently connected to the holder, and a winding device, which is permanently connected to the force measuring device and has a drive having an electric motor. Winding device is configured to unwind and wind a cable and to determine an unwinding length of the cable. Guide device permanently connected to the holder has a centering device for passing through the cable, an outlet apparatus which is mounted on universal joints and is intended to pass through the cable with a variable direction, and a position sensor for determining an angular position of the outlet apparatus. Position sensor is set up to determine position of a predetermined point of the cable relative to holder on the basis of determined angular position and unwinding length.

  • Publication number: 20020111223
Abstract: A swing controller comprises three parts: an attachment part for attachment to the handle of the golf club, a main part including a main cylinder with spike and supporting three antifriction bearing rings and club face scale, and a telescope part including a telescoping cylinder with groove and O-ring disposed at a lower end of the telescope part and a positioning part for check points for indicating the position of the club and disposed at the upper end of the telescope part. The telescope part is extendable and allows adaptation to short golf clubs, to medium golf clubs and to long golf clubs. An extended axis of the club shank is produced by attaching the swing controller onto the end of the club handle. This renders possible and produces an effective, visual control for all axial planes.

  • Patent number: 6192719
Abstract: A snowboard assembly containing a snowboard attached to a locking device. The locking device is contained within an enclosure, which is attached to the snowboard. The enclosure contains a base hingeably attached to a cover; the cover and base may be readily connected to and disconnected from each other. The locking device is inclined with respect to the base to afford ready visibility and easy access. A cable is connected to the locking device and is adapted to be connected to a post or other secure structure.

  • Patent number: 5472767
Abstract: In the natural wood panel according to the invention, the fibers (10) are inclined to the panel plane (2) at an angle (.alpha.) between 0.degree. and 90.degree., especially between 20.degree. and 70.degree.. The panel has at least one layer of such natural wood panels (2) joined with one another, in which the fibers (10) of the panels (2) point in the same direction or, in another embodiment, in different directions. At least one other layer can be provided which is joined with the layer of natural wood panels (2), and this layer can also be a natural wood laminated panel or a layer of wood, wood fiber substances, sound-absorbing, heat-insulating, radiation-repelling or heat-conducting material.

  • Patent number: 4263590
Abstract: A method and an electro-mechanical arrangement for the generating and processing of electrical impulses for the setting or correction of an electronic digital display through the intermediary of an impulse generator. The impulse generator consists of an impulse transmitter and an impulse collector whereby, by means of the impulse emitter which evidences a plurality of impulse-generating elements, preferably arranged at uniform spacings in a circular path relative to a rotational axis, a plurality of electrical contacts are adapted to be closed in cooperation with the impulse-generating elements. The contacts of the impulse collector, generating mutually timewise displaced but still overlapping impulses whose frequency is proportional to the relative speed between the impulse transmitter and the impulse collector and whose phase position, in essence the phase lead and phase lag, is dependent upon the relative direction of rotation between the impulse transmitter and the impulse collector.

  • Patent number: 3950939
Abstract: A twenty-four hour digital display in which the numerals for the display are carried by a 1-hour barrel and a 10-hour barrel which are stepped by a stepping device. A steppable visor driven in steps by the 10-hour barrel covers part of the time the 1-hour barrel which has a function of the time display. The visor itself carries numerals for indicating single-digit hours. The stepping device includes a gearing and a shaft which serves simultaneously as a locking device for the two barrels.

  • Patent number: 3944795
Abstract: A setting mechanism incorporated in a digital display device which includes a movable first digit carrier; a motor driving the first digit carrier in a normal digit-advancing operation; and a movable second digit carrier. The setting mechanism has a drive member continuously driven by the motor, a clutch connected between the drive member and the second digit carrier. The clutch, when in its engaged state, couples the drive member to the second digit carrier for imparting a setting motion to the latter; and a manually operable actuator connected to the clutch for operating the same.
